Disclaimer:- This is a paid collaboration with My-Picture.co.uk but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Growing up in the ’80s, I loved nothing more than flipping through my Gran’s photo albums and asking lots of questions about the people within those little squares. I was the same with the framed photos at my other Grandparent’s house. My parents didn’t have many, a few of when I was a baby and the odd school photo, but nothing that really captured memories. As I grew, I got my own camera and snapped everything I could. I quickly learned of the expense of getting those developed and dialled it back a notch. By the time I reached my late teens’ cameras were much more readily available, printing didn’t cost an arm and a leg and I filled so many photo albums of nights out with friends, holidays and even the odd pretty sky scene. I was like that back then too.

Nowadays, we take millions of photos, but we rarely print them off. I know I am especially guilty of this. I have printed out a few, but nothing compared to what I used to and do you know what, they would make amazing Christmas gifts. This is something I think we should give more of. Picture prints are personal, capture beautiful memories and are the perfect keepsake. I have teamed up with My-Picture.co.uk to try out some of their canvas photo prints, which make perfect gifts and have one to giveaway to one of my lucky readers. Not only that, I have a discount available too. Check it out below.

Family Canvas

One thing that puts me off about printing pictures is finding the right size of the frame and then backing for hanging it. But, My-Picture.co.uk takes the hassle out of that, not only do they supply prints, frames and canvas prints, they also supply the backing and fitments for the photos. Easy as 123. Now, what pictures to choose to get immortalised in canvas. The first one I chose was one of the only family photos we have. Taken on a wonderful holiday in California. Here we are at Disneyland and this is one I will treasure forever. I chose to get this on canvas and it is perfect. The colours, the sharpness and it looks great on the wall.

Backing

As you can see the canvas is extremely sturdy and well made. The material is thick and you don’t get that glare I was worried about. The hanger sets are thick twine with hooks that go onto the frame and one The size of canvas I chose was a 60×60 square and it’s a fair size. The website is simple to use, upload your photo, chose which size of canvas you want or size of photo and photo frame if you don’t fancy a canvas and they do the rest for you. It’s quick, easy and looks great.

MyPicture Canvas

I have always loved taking photos of the kids and found that I preferred my photos to the ones that I got done at school. This year, the Grandparents are getting lovely canvas pictures of the kids rather than the awkward school ones. I think they will both love this photo, what do you think? They arrive quickly, so I’ve still got plenty of time to order more for Aunts and Uncles. I will definitely be ordering more.

We found My-Picture.co.uk great to use and the quality of the photo is excellent. If you fancy ordering one yourself, I have a discount code you can use SUSANKMANN and you will be able to get an additional 15 % off to all, already discounted CANVAS prints as seen on My-Picture.co.uk website.

Giveaway

I am giving away a £50 voucher to spend at My-Picture.co.uk to one lucky reader. Do enter in the Rafflecopter form below.

That wait for having photos developed seemed like an eternity!! I love how everything is immediate these days and you can take 20 of the same thing in order to get the right picture – but somehow it has taken some of the magic away. I do not print any pictures off these days and it is a shame, we have so many awesome memories that really should be displayed. That’s a job for 2020! 🙂 Sim x
