Gifted – We were sent the Frozen 2 Dress-Up Toys for the purpose of this review.
With Frozen 2 being released today, 22nd November, we are very excited in our house. We are going to see it this evening and cannot wait. It’s like Christmas come early. Whilst waiting to see it, we have been lucky enough to try out some of the new dress-up toys. We have been trying the Disney Frozen 2 Magic Ice Walker and Magic Ice Sleeve, as well as the Whisper and Glow Olaf.
Disney Frozen 2 Ice Walker
This is a fantastic product for any Frozen fans, especially Elsa fans. Would you like to create ice as you stepped? Well, you can create something that looks like ice with every magical step you take with the Disney Frozen 2 Ice Walker. It hooks over your little one’s shoe at the back and underneath using velcro. It will fit any shoe size, it even fits my size 5’s.
The Ice Walker takes 3 AAA batteries which don’t come included. You will also need a screwdriver to fit them. Next, you want to turn it upside down and set the switch to ON. Once this is done, put onto the shoe and watch the magic appear.
When they step down with their foot with the Ice Walker on, this creates the light on the ground in front of them. The light on the shoe lights up. There is even a lovely picture of Elsa on there too.
The darker the room is the more you can see the light projects. It magically projects snow crystals and ice onto the floor. Now they are just like Elsa from the movie. Magical.
Frozen 2 Whisper And Glow Olaf
Who doesn’t love Olaf? We all do, right? He is cute, funny and just an all-round fab snowman. What we love about this is that it is a great little pocket money toy or stocking filler. He can fit in your pocket and go anywhere with you. Plus, he has a special magical power. Take out the little battery protector tab on the back of his head and turn the switch from off to on.
Next, you want to blow lightly on the top of his head and watch the magic happen. Olaf glows. Blow again and he changes colour. You just need to blow lightly.

These glow brighter the darker the room, but they are so cute and lovable. There are 11 different characters to choose from and they aren’t blind bags if you wanted to collect them all. This is my favourite of the toys. They are a great size for little hands and we love the added colour magic.
Frozen 2 Magic Ice Sleeve
Now, if you have an Elsa fan, they will want to create their own ice magic and spray ice just like Elsa can. Now they can with this Frozen 2 Magic Ice Sleeve. Yes, it really does allow them to spray out ice. Well, sort of. Inside the box, you will get a dress-up sleeve that can be used on its own, a can of magic ice, a refillable water bottle and the mechanism to make it all work.

Following the instructions you want to make sure you put the magic ice in the right way. Make sure you look for the red dot upwards. And then hook it into the holder.
You can see it holds in like this and it can be put in. We put the Elsa sleeve on first, then slipped the mechanism onto the wrist. It’s comfortable to wear, but one false move and it sprays.
This is how it looks on and you are ready to spray. It comes with the Magic Ice, but also the water. We are testing out the Magic Ice first. Make sure you don’t have it near material that could get ruined. It might be best to use it outside.
I struggled to get a picture with it spraying out, as there were so much hilarity and excitement going on. Little Miss absolutely loved this and had great fun at going it. Coming out of the sleeve is like the silly string is, but looks just like Magic Ice. So now we can be just like Elsa and “Let it go.”

The fun of magic ice. It doesn’t mark or stick, but it is wet at first, so material and walls are maybe not ideal. The silly string should be used when you want to re-create the extra magic of the film. It is not refillable, unfortunately.
However, you can swap the Magic Ice Bottle for the water bottle. This is refillable. You can have lots more fun with this. It sprays out water at quite a rate and they can play Frozen for hours.
This is a brilliant and fun toy. We had endless amounts of giggling and excitement playing the magic of Elsa. This really brings the wonder of Disney to life. I am not sure about the replacement for the silly string, but the water bottle means that it’s not a waste. The size would fit most children. Little Miss is 6 and it fits her well. These are available from B&M’s or Smyths Toy Store.

Do I dare confess that I’ve never seen Frozen. An ex-teacher and I’ve not seen the obsession I’ve every little girl I’ve taught (since it was released). I think I need to up my game…
It is acutally really good and the second one is even better x
