Belly Bashimi Game – Review

15th November 2019 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Belly Bashimi Box

I bet you are wondering what on earth this game is? Well… Belly Bashimi is a fun sumo style game with inflatable bellies. Can you bash your opponent out the ring to be the sumo champion?

Belly Bashimi Items

Inside the Belly Bashimi box you will find instructions, sushi counters, a spinner, two inflatable bellies and a foam ring to put together. Everything can deflate and come apart to go back into the box when finished.

Belly Bashimi Ring

The first thing you want to do is build your sumo ring. This is done by simply putting the foam ring together and putting it down in a circle on the floor.

Belly Bashimi Sushi

Spread out your sushi counters on the floor within the ring.

Belly Bashimi Start

Once you have blown up your inflatable bellies, you want to attach them using the velcro straps. They fit anyone from ages 7 upwards. Little Miss is almost 7 and she enjoyed it, but it’s a great game that can be played at any age. It is best played with players of the same height to be fair, but it isn’t necessary.

Belly Bashimi Spinner

Spin the Bashimi spinner to see where your feet have to do within the circle to start.

Belly Bashimi Feet

Put your feet on the sushi chosen by the spinner and you are ready to begin. It adds something extra to the game and a bit more concentration and keeping your feet in place.

Belly Bashimi Playing

The kids did find that they were holding their bellies to hit each other out of the ring, but I think that was more to do with the size of them.

Belly Bashimi Fun

It is quite a physical game, but a lot of fun. Just make sure you have plenty of room to play. The kids had great fun playing this and got quite competitive at it. It is simple and something you can play anywhere.

Belly Bashimi Crash

Make sure you have plenty of room for when they inevitably fall over. The object of the game is to bounce your opponent out the ring with your giant inflatable belly. The best of three rounds to win. What we love about Belly Bashimi is that it can be played anywhere, quickly and with different ages. Plus, it deflates and packaged away in the box quickly. With a price of £17.99, I think it’s a good value for money and would be a great one for Christmas day. It is available at Very and other retailers.
