Rainbocorns Plush Big Bow Surprise – Review

11th October 2019 By Susan Mann 2 Comments

Rainbocorns

Gifted:- We were sent these Rainbocorns to review free of charge, but all words and photos are my own.

My little Miss loves toys and anything soft, surprises or sequin-related is a big hit. Throw them all together with a unicorn horn and you have a kid who might burst with excitement when she saw these Raibbocorns. We are new to Rainbocorns but are instantly in love with them. We were sent a Zuru Rainbocorns Plush Big Bow Surprise large plush and a Zuru Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise Mini Plush. Don’t they look fab?

Rainbocorns Plush Big Bow Surprise Flamingo

So what is a Rainbocorns? They are cute, squashy, plush animal/unicorn hybrids with a reversible sequined tummy that hatch from a surprise Raibocorn egg. Cool, huh?

Rainbocorns Plush Big Bow Surprise Flamingo Unboxing

The Giant Rainbocorn egg is huge and even I couldn’t wait to open it, we had to unbox that one first. Removing the packaging you are left with your giant plastic egg, sequin heart and bow.

Sequins

On the large egg, has a sequin heart on it, which can be brushed in the opposite way to reveal a new symbol. We got an island-style sequin heart.  This tells you which Rainbocorn you have inside the golden egg.

Opening

The egg opens into two parts. The sequin heart comes out along with all the other fun surprises. One of the good things about the egg is that it can be used to store your new toy in or as a bed for your plush toy. There are 3 different Rainbocorn’s to collect in these Big Bow Surprise eggs; Bowie, Belle, and Bobbi. Little Miss was delighted we hatched Belle.

Inside

Inside the golden egg, you will find the Plush Big Bow Surprise, 3 surprise Bow-Bowcorn eggs and a whopping 25 surprises, including pencil toppers, accessories and more.

Rainbocorns Big Bow Surprise Flamingo

Meet our giant cuddly Rainbocorn Flamingo plushy. Isn’t she just gorgeous and colourful? She is super soft and extremely huggable. From her squishy body to her gold unicorn horn, to her rainbow wings to her gold feet, she is lovely.

Rainbocorns Flamingo

Remember that sequin heart on the egg? Well, that fits right into the belly of the plushy. The sequin heart can also go back onto the egg to seal it. Plus, there is a clip on the back of the sequin heart to attach it to your plush toy or your own hair as an accessory.

Rainbocorns Plush Big Bow Surprise Flamingo blind bags

As you can see there are lots of fun blind bags to open.

Blind Bag Opening

What will we get? It’s so exciting.

Inside Blind Bags

So many goodies in the bags, stickers, accessories, and so much more.

Bow-Bowcorn eggs

The little Bow-Bowcorn eggs are the cutest and even they come with their own accessories. Rings, hair clips and their own little beds in their eggs. To Bow-Bowcorns can be used as pencil toppers too. I love how each little item has many uses.

Rainbocorns Big Bow Rings

The wings come separately, which can clip onto your Bow-Bowcorn creature, but also they can clip onto the rings for a new accessory. Those little love hearts on the eggs, well they too come off and add to the rings.

Slapband

I think out of all the accessories and surprises, this fluffy, unicorn slap band is little Miss favourite. It is so soft and I love the colours.

Bands

Other items in the Rainbocorn’s Plush Big Bow Surprise is a springy bracelet with a charm.

Rainbocorns Tattoo

Stickers are like gold to kids and little Miss has loved decorating the big egg with the stickers. There are also little clear stickers than can be stuck on paper and glitter added to from the little pot and brush that comes with the surprises. Or you can create a glitter tattoo as we did. Honestly, there is so much with this toy.

Rainbocorns Hairband

There is a gorgeous, sparkly, unicorn hairband. Doesn’t it look great? We love the big fluffy pompom ears. All the plush parts are super soft.

Gel Pens

These glitter gel pens were something unexpected and fun to use to draw with.

Bow

With it being Rainbocorns Plush Big Bow Surprise item, you couldn’t not have bows in the surprises, could you? There is the big bow you can see on the outside. It hooks off and has a clip to attach it to your hair. There is also a smaller bow which is rainbow in colour. As you can see Little Miss loves these bows. They suit her too.

Opening Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise plush

Time to unbox the Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise toy. The egg splits open in two as you would expect. Again the egg can be used as storage or a house for your toy.

Rainbocorns plush

Inside the little Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise Sparkle egg you get 1 of 6 different little plush toys. You peel off the sticker in the middle to reveal a mystery symbol. The smaller plushy is soft, cute and huggable. There are 6 mini Rainbocorns to collect; Unicorn, Puppycorn, Flamingocorn, Llamacorn, Bunnycorn and Kittycorn. Don’t they all sound fabulous?

Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise plush

In the Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise egg, you get a Boo-Boocorn, rainbow poop and a collectors guide.

Bow-Bowcorn

There are a total of 18 colour-changing Boo-Boocorns to collect. To change colour all you have to do is dip them in water.

Rainbocorns Ring

The little bow-bowcorn comes with a ring too. The heart that holds the egg together clips onto the ring. A little bit different from the bigger set.

Slime

Slime is still the in thing, isn’t it? But, Rainbocorn poop slime isn’t like the runny, sticky slime you normally see. This one is soft and squishy. It comes as different colours than mix to make another.

Slime in egg

We found the little bow-bowcorn egg was the perfect place to store our unicorn poop. It keeps it secure and doesn’t dry out.

Rainbocorns Pin

We have had a lot of fun unboxing both the Rainbocorns Big Bow Surprise and  Sparkle Heart Rainbocorn. Blind bags and surprises are a lot of fun and kids really enjoy the experience. The larger of the eggs, Rainbocorns Big Bow Surprise has an RRP of £49.99 which is expensive, but it’s huge with tons of extras and a large super-soft plush. It is currently on offer with £10 off at Smyths. It would make a great Christmas gift for those who love unicorns, surprises or soft toys. The Sparkle Heart Rainbocorn are super cute and have an RRP of £9.99 which s great value for everything you get. These would make the perfect stocking filler or a Christmas gift for others. We really enjoyed playing with these and give them a big thumbs up.

    Hi Susan!
From which age is this toy appropriate, in your opinion? My daughter is four and a half years old and would like one this Christmas.
    Best wishes

      Hi,

I would say it depends on the child. There is slime and small parts, for my child I’d have said 4 as she didn’t put things in her mouth. If a mature 4, definitely from 4. it is a really good set.
