The schools are back and we are all into full swing of school runs, packed lunches and homework. We have been thinking about crafts we could use for school and with some inspiration from Toy Story 4, have you seen it? We came up with our wee friend Spoonie. Why not have a go at this crafts we have created as part of this month’s theme for Tots 100 #BostickBlogger craft.
School Crafts For Kids – Spoonie
What you’ll need:-
- Bostik Blu Tack
- Bostik Micro Dots
- Plastic Spoon
- Googly Eyes
- Pipe Cleaner
- Lolly stick
- Mouth
Step 1
First, we got the plastic spoon and added a pipe cleaner to make the arms
Step 2
Twist the middle bit around to hold it still before making the hands.
Step 3
Next, you want to shape the hands like above.
Step 4
We used some Bostik Micro Dots to add on some googly eyes to the spoon face.
Step 5
Next, you want to stick on some googly eyes using Bostik Blu Stick.
Step 6
We had some crescent moon shaped sticky parts that we used as the mouth, but you could use anything.
Step 7
The next thing to do is use a lolly stick to add on feet. We did this using Bostik Blu Tack.
Step 8
Snap the lolly stick, please be careful. An adult would be my preference here. Add a chunk of blu tack to the bottom of the spoon to allow it to stand and put in the two ends of the lolly sticks.
Here we have Spoonie. What do you think? The perfect little friend to accompany you to school.
School Crafts For Kids – Rainbow Cloud
What you’ll need:-
- Bostik Micro Dots
- Silver Card
- Lolly stick
Step 1
Cut out a cloud shape out of cardboard. We had some silver card and chose to use it, but you can use any colour.
Step 2
Once it’s cut out, we felt it looked like a rain cloud.
Step 3
To create the rainbow we used lolly sticks.
Step 4
Turn the cloud over and use the Bostik Micro dots to stick them on.
Step 5
We wanted to use them at different levels, but it’s up to you how you want it to look.
Step 6
Keep adding the different colours of lolly sticks until you have one of each.
Step 7
Turn it over and see if you have enough stuck on. What do you think?
Step 8
A rainbow cloud craft. We are going to make some more of these to stick on the wall. They are quite effective.
School Crafts For Kids – Pencil Topper
What you’ll need:-
- Bostik Micro Dots
- Pencil
- Pipecleaner
- Googly Eyes
Step 1
We thought it might be cute to make a little book worm type topper.
Step 2
We wrapped the pipe cleaner around the pencil.
Step 3
Create the head of the little worm or creature.
Step 4
Use Bostik Micro dots to stick-on googly eyes.
Step 5
Have the cute little face made.
Here is our little pencil topper friend. What would you make?
