Summer Holidays, Rainbow Bear And Beautiful Cat Our Weekly Photos – Week 26

It has been another busy week here in the world of SusanKMann, not that it seems to be any different these days. But, as we get to the end, things are starting to slow down. So, let me fill you in on our week since last week’s weekly photos. Well, last weekend there was no football, well that’s not strictly true, Robert had to go watch a football match for the syfa league stuff or something. We went out for lunch all together and then did the food shop. Kids played outside and tried to get some writing done before a takeaway and some couple time in the evening where we watched the Netflix show What If. Have you seen it?

Sunday we all went into Glasgow with our twin nieces for a Young Driver experience. The kids all loved it and had a great time. It is definitely worth doing. We had a spot of lunch in Glasgow before heading back home for Robert’s football club’s medal presentation for Lucas age group. One of the twins came too as they used to play for the team but now play for a girls team. Robert misses not having her play, they have a lovely bond. The kids all got their medals and one of the Mum’s put on some lovely treats for the boys. It was a nice afternoon and I was so proud of Robert and everything he and the coaches and the boys have achieved over the last season. It was home for a quick bite to eat and Aria and I went to gymnastics with her wee friend. Aria got 3 certificates and 3 badges that she’d passed from gymnastics and was chuffed to bits. She’s really coming on in confidence this last year and gymnastics is something she loves. Back home for the usual bath and hair wash on a Sunday night ready for the last week of school.

I have just realised how bad I have been at photos again this week, must sort that for next week. I didn’t get any of Aria with her badges or Lucas and his medal. Oops! I’m a bad blogger it would seem. Anyway, Monday morning and that’s us into our last week of the school year. Work for me and my Mum was back watching the kids, along with Oreo the dog. He totally missed us, I am sure of it, well, probably just me lol. No clubs at school or in the evening so this was strange. Robert and I had dinner at a decent hour when we came home from work and we all went to bed at a decent hour. Sometimes when you sit down like that you are just so tired.

Tuesday, I was out driving in my wee tiny car. Do you see it above? It’s a bit like a hamster wheel. Well, I call it that. It’s cute and really nice to drive too. This is one of our two new cars. Work for a bit, then, I picked up the two little kids and we got some lovely ice-creams from the shop before heading to pick up Lucas from high school. While I was waiting I got addicted to the new Harry Potter Wizards Unite game, pokemon go for HP fans. It’s fab. Let me know if you play and we can be friends. Some writing for me while the kids went out to play after dinner.

I captured a lovely photo of Aria with her favourite rainbow bear this week. It’s bright and colourful. Wednesday was a super long day at work, so long. I came home, early dinner and an early night.

Getting up early on Thursday to do some more writing. I took a photo of Twilight with the grass shining on her eyes making them look even more green. She is such a beautiful cat and I love her so much. She’s very sweet. Thursday was also the last day of work for 10 days for me and Robert. So, it was a busy day and really warm in the office with the gorgeous sunshine. I came home and did some blog posts and some scheduling while I’m away. Is it just me or do you feel you need to go away with all blog posts up to date, comments commented on and all emails sent with a clean inbox? Then there is a tidy house. I am not going to be there for a week and I haven’t even started packing.

I am also hoping to type The End on my novel re-write and enter it into a few competitions while I edit the rest of it over the summer. I signed myself up to an editing course for July, so that’ll be fun. Wish me luck.

And just like that, we are at the start of the summer holidays and I am away for the week, first to Eyemouth, wherever that is. My geography is appealing and then onto North Wales. I seemed to be going from one side of the country to the other, ahh well I won’t be driving. You can see Tyler above is getting into the holiday spirit. I will be about on social media, but I might not blog or be on as much while away. I am looking forward to spending time with my family, chilling, maybe a spot of reading, swimming or whatever it is you do when you relax, I may have forgotten. Anyway, have a good week and I’ll speak to you on the other side.

Have a lovely break! It will be so nice to get away from work and school. Hopefully some good weather for you too.
Well done to the kids for all their end of year achievements. I hope your niece is doing well with her girls’ football team. My son has a female friend who is still playing with boys’ teams at 15. She is also in the England ladies’ development team, so she is pretty awesome!

Absolutely loving your new wheels! Bet it is super easy to park! Glad you are on the wind down now and enjoying the holidays – you certainly need a break after the crazy couple of weeks you have had! I am not the greatest fan of cats, but Twilight is a cutie! 🙂 Sim x

Aww thank you. It is actually really weird to park as I was used to a 7 seater, so I keep leaving big gaps still. I had a lovely break. Aww she is a sweetie xx

I stopped in Eyemouth for one night over 40 years ago. Hope you are enjoying your time away.
The nearly finished novel sounds very exciting, I know a few bloggers who may do a review for you…..lol
People like your husband are unsung heroes and the world would be a worse place without them. I remember the hassle you had with the medals last year, glad this year went smppthly

I am so jealous that people are starting to break up. We don’t break up for another two weeks. Which is just as well as I still need to sort out the odd day of childcare. Hope you have a lovely break. I am away as I write this and its strange stepping away from the blog. I am not sure I have missed it! Maybe there is a change coming x
