Squishmallows – The Snuggle is Real

20th May 2019 By Susan Mann 6 Comments

Squishmallows

#Ad-gifted

We are very lucky that we get sent some amazing new toys to try out, the kids know how lucky they are and when we were sent these new squishable collectables Squishmallows from Hexbugs, they could not wait to hug them and play with them. These are one of our favourites. I even took one with me to work.

There are 13 available at present with more coming later on in the year. Aren’t they fab? They are suitable from birth and great for all ages. My three kids range from 6-12 and all 3 of them love love love them. They have been deciding which one is their favourite,  but they are all so cute. These will definitely be the latest craze.

Huggable Squishmallows

It is difficult to describe in words how soft, cuddly and squeezable Squishmallows actually are, but they are the best. You cannot hold them and not give them a wee squeeze. Making a perfect friend for life.

Squishy Squishmallows

They are a bit like a cross between a slow rise squishy and soft toy, perfect for little ones to have some fun playing and can fit in the bag to take on the go.

Squishmallows personalities

Each Squishmallows comes with a little tag which includes their name, a wee bit of information about the character and their own personalities. Within this tag, there is also a special code where you can go online and register at Squishmallows for a chance to win prizes. You can also download a special adoption certificate for your character. On the website, there is a chance to buy a special 14th character that isn’t available in the store. How fab is that?

Playtime Squishmallows

I really love that they have their own names and little personalities, it’s something kids can relate to and the names really suit them too. A lot of time and thought has gone into each and every one. Here is Astrid The Purple Unicorn; Astrid is a dream and loves learning about astrology. She loves interacting with ours and wants to be a Psychology Professor when she grows up. How lovely is that? Also, we have Tim The Alpaca; Tim is one of the best lead guitarists there is. He is always away on the next tour and travels the world with his younger brother Jim. He is a big fan of alternative rock. We think Tim rocks too.

Hoot Squishmallow

Meet little Hoot The Owl; he is one of my personal favourites. Hoot has a sister Holly, they are both opposites of each other. Hoot is quiet and loves to read, but he is also secretly a very good singer, but it’s a bit shy about it. A bit like myself 😉

Sloth Squishmallow

My other favourite is Simon The Sloth; now who doesn’t love Sloths? Simon is the perfect pal is chillax with or play a video game. He is very good at playing games.

Esmerelda Squishmallow

Unicorns are the in thing these days and Squishmallows have included not one, but two in their collection. Meet the lovely Esmerelda The Rainbow Tie Dye Unicorn; she really is adorable and the colour of her super soft fur is just like a rainbow. Esmerelda is very arty and enjoys spreading some creativity and positivity everywhere she goes. She is definitely Aria’s favourite.

Hans the Hedgehog Squishmallows

Squishmallows aren’t just for girls you know, boys love them just as much. Here is Tyler showing off his two favourite Squishmallows, meet Gary The Giraffe; he is super sporty and aspires to become an Olympic athlete. I reckon he’s got a bright future ahead of him. Also, with Tyler is Hans The Hedgehog; Hans is super cute. He looks a bit like he has sprinkles on his back. His favourite food is pudding and he loves to watch a good movie. He is my kind of friend.

Cameron The Cat

Cameron The Cat has a new friend in Twilight. Squishmallows aren’t just for the humans of this world, cats are also partial to a wee friend in the form of a lovely, soft and super cuddly toy. Cameron, like Twilight, loves to spend time building forts out of cardboard boxes and unlike Twilight, he likes to skateboard. The cat has taken this little friend into her own bed. I think there is a market for cat toys here.

Sleeping Squishmallows

With Squishmallows being so soft and cuddly, they are the perfect bedtime companion. They are warm and velvety against your skin. The first night we had them home, I went in and found Tyler sound asleep cuddling these two. They are the perfect comfort blanket friend. Here is Puff The Penguin; who loves all things tech and surfing the web. He also enjoys robotics and coding, which is perfect for Tyler. He is snuggled up to Danny The Dino; you can just see the side of him there. You’ll see him better in the group pictures. Danny is a big board game fan and loves playing them with friends or outdoor sports.

Squishmallows fun

Meet Fifi The Fox.  She is a gorgeous red Squishmallow with a sweet little face. She loves to go off on adventures and would love to go on another trip with you. Next, we have Randy The Racoon; Randy like to climb and look at the wondrous world around him. He is also off on a climbing adventure and you can go too. Lastly, meet Mila The Elephant; she loves making healthy and tasty treats for all her friends. As you can see each one is unique and there is a Squishmallow friend for everyone. I just love that about them.

Unicorn Squishmallows

We think Squishmallows are fantastic. Their quirky style, softness and cuddle-ability make them a huge hit in our house. For tactile kids they are great. They look superb and are washable too. I think at the RRP of £6.99 it makes them great value and a good price to collect the set. They would make a great party gift and suitable from birth. At 7.5″ tall they are great for taking on the move or for keeping your bed safe and warm. You can buy them from most good toy shops and their website from mid-May. The website Squishmallows has lots of added extras so do check that out. There will be more launched in the collection later this year and we can’t wait to meet the Disney collection. We think they are one of the best collectables out there and definitely one of our favourites so far. A HUGE thumbs up on this toy from us.
