BABY Born Surprise! – Review

11th April 2019 By Susan Mann 2 Comments

Baby Born Surprise Toys[Gifted]

There is a new BABY Born doll on the block and it is super cute. Meet BABY Born Surprise! Yes, Surprise! A little different from the baby dolls and accessories you are used to seeing with BABY Born. These are something a little special and exciting, they are blind bags. And wait until you see how CUTE they are. Little Miss couldn’t wait to open these.

Baby Born Surprise

Remove the plastic packaging and you are left with a beautifully wrapped little package in a gorgeous pink colour, tied with a blue ribbon.

Baby Born Surprise Unwrap

Once you remove the pink fabric, there is a little pod inside that pops right up revealing your first surprise.

Baby Born Surprise Inside

Remove the wrapping, which is a gorgeous square of pink material with BABY Born Surprise! on the print. A bit of paper with the details and a surprise packet. Don’t forget the most wonderful little bundle of joy! Meet your new BABY Born Surprise! Here is Spring Flower. Isn’t he or she the cutest wee thing?

Baby Born Surprise Sleeping

Open up your little blind packet and you will find your baby bottle. Is it pink or blue? This determines whether it is a boy or a girl. The bottles are even well made, look pretty and are soft and squishy. By removing the cute little cosy swaddle pocket, this will reveal the colour of your baby’s hair and boy or girl hair band. Just look how adorable they are. The doll’s body is hard and posable. The head is poseable but much more squishy.

Baby Born Surprise Wiping Eyes

One of the most exciting surprises is revealing what colour your baby’s eyes. What will yours reveal? To do this, you need to use a wet tissue or a wipe. Think of it as being a bit like removing your eye makeup.

Baby Born Surprise Waking Up

Wipe of the eyes and off comes the covering. However, this can only be done once. Once, it’s off that’s it.

Baby Born Surprise Awake

Peekaboo I see you! Our little BABY Born Surprise! has purple eyes. Aren’t they pretty?

Baby Born Surprise Feeding

Next is to feed your little cute with her bottle. Fill it up with water is easy, squeeze and away it fills. Place the bottle in the baby’s mouth and squeeze. Fill the baby’s belly for the next surprise.

Baby Born Surprise Nappy

Your baby will wet it’s nappy. Once the nappy is wet, watch for a lovely pattern to reveal. This one reveals what your baby’s favourite food is. Spring Flower loves watermelon.

Baby Born Surprise Ice-Cream

Our second little bundle of BABY Born Surprise! was Berry Ice Cream Cone. Another sweet little girl to join our playtime fun.

Baby Born Surprise Dolls

Aren’t they fabulous? Lots of fun surprises, fun dolls and pocket sized for on the go fun.

Baby Born Surprise So Cute

The cosy swaddle is easy to remove and put back on, perfect for little fingers.

Baby Born Surprise playtime

There is also a fun collector guide with surprise games. information about your baby and a birth certificate you can fill in.

Baby Born Surprise Bedtime

I love that even the packaging can be part of the imaginative role playing fun. Here is Little Miss putting her little bundles to bed with the fabric blanket in their little pods.

Baby Born Surprise Baby

We are huge fans of BABY Born and even bigger fans of BABY Born Surprise! They are so cute, great for playing and taking on the go. Each package has 10 surprises to find, so there are lots of doing when you open your wrap. There are a total of 12 BABY Born Surprise! dolls to collect in series 1. Aimed at children aged 3 and upwards,  these are perfect for kids like my Little Miss who loves dolls, surprises and cuteness. These are right up her street.  The toys are well made, thought out and will be played with again and again. These are one of those toys that make you smile when you see them and say awww.

BABY born Surprise! are available from Smyths, The Entertainer, Argos and other good toy stores. With an RRP of £11.99 and I think they are great value for money. With the egg-shaped packaging, they would make a fantastic Easter alternative gift. Or for any occasion.
