Now Is The Time To Vote For Your Favourite Entry – Win The Ultimate School Trip With Jet2Holidays

13th March 2018 By Susan Mann 4 Comments

Jet2Holidays Planes

At the end of last year, I blogged about a fantastic competition for schools to win The Ultimate School Trip which Jet2Holidays were hosting, with the very funny presenters Dick and Dom. They travelled around the country and visited with lots of different primary schools including one close by in Glasgow as part of the promotion. The prize is truly fantastic an all-expenses-paid long weekend to Sol Katmandu Park resort in Majorca. Fantastic, isn’t it?

It looks and sounds amazing. I wouldn’t mind going there. To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize, the school children had to create their very own promotional item about the awesome Sol Katmandu Park and Resort. You need to see some of the things these kids came up with, truly incredible and inspiring, you can see all the entries on Jet2Holidays website.

There were so many wonderful entries that Jet2Holidays have announced a shortlist a whopping five schools from each of the nine UK bases. That’s 45 schools with a chance for the entire class to go on the trip. Jet2 base regions include schools from Leeds Bradford, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, London Stanstead, Glasgow, Belfast International, East Midlands and Edinburgh. You can see all the list of schools which have made the shortlist. It is very exciting. They are looking for the public to vote for their favourite entry to win The Ultimate School Trip prize to go in April. Voting is simple and quick, go to the page and fill in the details with your chosen school. Simple!

I love the fact that there are 9 different schools that get to go on this trip. It is an awesome opportunity. Even their CEO Steve Heapy, said this about the entries; “The Standard of the entries has been exceptional and I would like to say thank you to all the hundreds of schools that have taken part. We have been staggered by the quality and the effort of the work that pupils have produced, however, the shortlisted schools have shown creative brilliance and I’d like to congratulate them and wish them good luck in the public vote.” Isn’t that lovely of Jet2Holidays?

Anthony Quinlan

Even those who don’t win, don’t lose out. Each shortlisted school receives £1,000 worth of school equipment vouchers. They were chosen by celebrity judge – Emmerdale and Hollyoaks TV star Anthony Quinlan, above with some of the entries.

You need to be quick with voting for your favourite entry. It is open from now until 6pm on Friday the 16 March 2018. So, not long. Don’t wait around and vote now for your favourite entry. How amazing would it be for those children to go on The Ultimate School Trip, the memories they would make and the fun they would have. I have already voted for my favourite and you can follow along for updates with the hashtag #UltimateSchoolTrip on twitter. Good luck to all the shortlisted schools and I look forward to seeing how wins and hope they have the most amazing time. I know I would love to go. Wouldn’t you?

Are any of your schools on the shortlist? Which one is your favourite entry? I’d love to know.

Sounds like a wonderful idea for children, I’ve never heard of this before. My son’s school is rubbish at getting involved with things like this. Jet 2 holidays are meant to be really good, I’ve never used them before but will definitely take a look.
