I left off last week having a killer migraine, well it still hasn’t quite lifted, but it is easing. Last week’s weekly photo post was a busy one, this one not so much. Sunday we didn’t do much, we watched a film, played some games and Aria made up a story as she read Toto. It was so cute. She’s coming on with her reading, but certainly can’t read a book like that. She likes to spot common words she’s been learning.
Monday I was working and the kids were off with my mum for the February holidays. They did some crafts and played. I had an early night. Tuesday, I was off since the kids were off. We went to see Coco, which is an awesome film. Oh how I wish it was real. Have you seen it? What did you think? I cried so much at the end. The kids enjoyed it too and even Ty who doesn’t like the cinema. We then made loads and loads of pancakes and had some flipping fun. You can see the kids enjoying it. There were some videos on Instagram stories. I’m dabbling with them, still not sure I like them. I am not a video fan yet. What about you?
Wednesday, Valentine’s Day and an in service day here. We don’t do much for Valentine’s Day other than swap cards, chocolates and I got roses which was lovely. Work for Robert and I, then football training in the snow. Kids went to their grandparents, my in laws for the day. Aria made a little heart shaped pancake.
I captured a really odd sky, with weird colours of trees. It’s odd isn’t it? Thursday was back to school for the kids, after school club and football training again in the snow for Tyler and Robert. They came home frozen. Robert then headed out to help my mum’s partner load the van in prep for the move the next day. We both had Friday off as my mum was moving house.
I took the kids to school, while Robert went to the gym. I caught up on some blogging, emails and some of my writing while I waited on a phone call from my mum. It took a while and she was very stressed. My head was really sore, so I rested and put my awesome shoulder and neck massager to ease. My mum finally got the keys at 4:30 so it was all hands on deck. We finished getting her stuff in at 10pm and headed home with tired kids.
Today, Saturday has been filled with grumpy overtired kids and football training. The boys have played some Fortnite on the Xbox and we watched some tv. Nothing exciting, we are tired. Tonight, it will be early to bed and Robert and I are having a takeaway and a wee drink. Catch up on some tv. What about you?
Have you had a good week?
Aww they look very proud of their pancakes, even the little heart shaped one. #mysundayphoto
She had a great time x
A busy week when your head is pounding, I really hope it is on it;’s way out for you. Loving that sky, it looks very threatening yet beautiful. Well done on fitting pancakes in for the kids too.
Thank you lovely. The sky was really strange. We had lots of fun with the pancakes x
Oh dear, I hope your head feels better soon! Great pancake shots too!
Thank you lovely x
Hi Susan, it sounds as if you all need to spend today doing nothing. I love the children’s faces as they proudly show off their pancakes. Hope they tasted as good as they looked…. Just the thought of moving house makes my hair curl (even more), hope it all went smoothly in the end!… And may this week be migraine free for you.
xx
They loved the pancakes. They were delicious. Moving is so stressful. Thanks lovely x
Love the pancake photos. Hope the migraine lifts soon! The moving day sounds like hard work, but glad you got it sorted. No wonder the kids were tired the next day!
Thank you lovely. They are still tired today too xx
Love the pancake photo’s! I spotted odd skies too this week and captured a 2 for #MySundayPhoto 🙂

Thank you lovely. Pancakes are good for any day x
Yes to those pancakes. We seemed to have had pancakes for every meal leading up to pancake day.
Thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
You can’t beat pancakes. They are so versatile x
The pancakes look fabulous, I only had one child interested in tossing ours, the others were only interested in eating them! I hope your Mum soon settles in her new home. I find moving so stressful I feel panicky when anyone mentions it, yet some people seem addicted to it! xx
#mysundayphoto
It is stressful. I’m sure they’ll get into it. Mine do enjoy it each year. Who knows for how long x
Awww lovely pancake photos and love the little heart pancake. I hate migraines I hope it clears up for you soon X #mysundayphoto
They are such a pain. Thank you lovely x
Loving the small pancake picture. I hope that migraine clears soon.
Thank you lovely x
I love the pancake photos! Your kids are looking so grown up. Migraines are awful – I really do empathise. Hope you are feeling better soon x #MySundayPhoto
They have changed so much. Thank you lovely x
Fab photos of your pancake makers! We haven’t seen Coco, the last film we saw in the cinema was Early Man. I do cry, watching family films though. The last one that left me as a weeping mess was A dog’s purpose, oh my god, I cried and I cried, quite embarrassing. Most beautiful blue sky!
You should see Coco it’s fab. The pancakes are fun x
The migraines sound horrid. We’ve completely missed pancake day this week so I think we’re going to have to make up for it in the coming days. I watched coco this week too and loved it so much, I bawled at the end….so soooo lovely!!
Thank you lovely. Glad I wasn’t the only one that bawled. It’ll lift soon x
Loving the pancake flipping pics!! <3 Hope you're feeling back to normal now re the migraine sweety, big hugs! xx
Thank you lovely. Pancakes are lots of fun x
Those pancakes are fab! It looks like the kids had great fun!
That sky really does look odd. So dramatic but beautiful.

It was such an odd sky. Thank you lovely x
Hope you’re feeling better. The pancakes look amazing. I loved Coco, and cried at the end too.
It is such a good film isn’t it? Thanks lovely x

They were a lot of fun x
Awww lovely photos! Those pancakes looks yummy!
We didnt do a lot this week and I actually feel guilty because I should have done more!
#mysundayphoto
We can only do so much hon. Hugs x
Thank you. The pancakes were a lot of fun x
Awww I love the teeny tiny heart pancake. Your girl looks tiny next to the huge frying pan. And that sky is odd. Looks like a painting. #365
It is so cute. It isn’t too big a pan. I know it looks really odd doesn’t it? xx
Glad you enjoyed pancake day!
It was lovely, Thank you x
I love the ‘really odd sky’ photo, it’s stunning. The trees look so yellow – if you drew that at school your teacher would give it back to you and tell you to do it again 😀
Is it a really odd sky isn’t it? lol she would. It was so eerie, I couldn’t not take a picture x
Love the pancakes, hope you’re feeling better soon #365
They were fun. Thank you x
did they manage to toss and catch the pancakes.
I make silly wee videos of the grandkids and pop them on youtube but more for family to watch than the general public to be interested in
Glad your mum got moves, that was a quick move.
Hope you enjoyed your takeaway.
They did. We have videos too, but I did put on my instagram stories too. Think they are on FB. It was a stressful one. Thank you lovely xx
I hope you are feeling better now. We went to see Coco today and it is such a wonderful film and yes I cried at the end too. I can’t get into Instagram stories either, I love adding photos but I just don’t seem to be able to keep up with the stories. If only there were more hours in a day??
It is such a great film. Glad I am not the only one who cried. Yeah me too, I just don’t feel the videos. Oh yes, so many more hours x
They look so proud of their pancakes, I remember the days when my kids got excited for pancake day now they just make them all the time so it’s not as special. #pointshoot
They loved making the pancakes. It is such fun, isn’t it. Bless. But fun to eat xx
Hope the Migraine is better hun! Glad you all enjoyed Coco, my boys didn’t want to see it as they thought it may be ‘too girly’. I may have to persuade them otherwise. We are on half term next week so could go then. Loved the pancake photos. We don’t have pancake day in Holland 😢 Thank you for linking up to #PointShoot 📸
Thank you lovely. It was good. Really? Both my boys loved it and my little girl not so much. It is about a little boy. Hope you have a good half term. Aww what a shame xx
I love how pancake day is such a family affair in your house – they all look so pleased!! I hope your migraine has finally gone – I had them so much when pregnant with Troy, it was awful! x
It is such a good day, isn’t it? They had a great time. It’s almost gone. Thanks, lovely x
I’ve heard a number of people say that they have enjoyed Coco. We’ve yet to see it and we also missed out on the pancakes this year too. #TheOrdinaryMoments
It’s such a good film. Aww what a shame, but pancakes are for all year round x
Will await it’s release on dvd and put it away till the girls are the right age to watch it #PointShoot
I love the pancake photo! We love pancakes in our house, well I do and that means the girls do ha ha! I hope the migraine has gone x
They are so much fun aren’t they? Thank you. It is pretty much gone. xx
Love the pancake pictures! Looks like they had great fun. I hope your head is much better. I struggle to get anything done when my head is bad. Xx #OrdinaryMoments
Thank you lovely. It is much better xx
That is one mega migraine. I hope it has finally lifted. Mine still love flipping pancakes but I was doing it way before they were born so I will keep the tradition going!
It has improved and much better, thank you x
love the photos of the kids with their pancakes and Aria’s little heart one. Sorry to hear you’re battling with that migraine, hope you’re feeling better now #365
Thank you. It has eased now x
