So last weekend was a busy one and not all with the kids. Friday night, saw Robert and me heading to the Hydro to see Impractical Jokers. I’d gotten the tickets earlier on this year for Robert’s birthday. They were actually really funny as was the supporting act. It was nice to be out together and do something a little different. We’ve been to see a few comedians in the past and the Hydro in Glasgow is always good to go to and it lights up at night. The Glasgow skyline is gorgeous. Thanks to my mum for babysitting the kids for a few hours. I hate to ask when they help me out babysitting when I am at work.
Saturday during the day was football training for Tyler and a match for Lucas. With Robert being the coach for Lucas age group he drew the short straw and was outdoors in the dreich autumn weather. Later on, the kids headed over to my in-laws for a sleepover. They were looking forward to it. Always a nice novelty. I got ready for a night out for a friends 40th. I decided to go for a slightly different look and tried out the new curlers I got for my 39 +1 birthday. What do you think? Robert and I, his sister and some school mum friends headed to the party. It was a really fun night and although I was still on antibiotics, I had a good time. It was nice.
Can’t say I felt the best the next morning though. We picked the kids up and straight to Tyler’s football match. Chilled and watched a film in the afternoon before they had futsal in the evening. No rest for these football mad boys.
I was back at the doctors on Friday and got some more antibiotics to help clear up the persistent infection. A few more tests, to make sure it was the right ones and well, as of today, Saturday, I have finished them. Still sore and a bit run down, but definitely feeling much better. Thank goodness.
The rest of the week has been a blur of homework with the kids, working and a few fun things along the way. Aria is at that stage where she has a thirst for learning and loving doing the wee bits of homework she gets. Look at that smile.
As always I look to the sky and I think I captured another of nature’s beauty in the cotton wool clouds. Sky pictures are truly my favourite captures. Plus I couldn’t let Friday the 13th go without a picture of my favourite black cat, Twilight!
The weekend is filled with football training, but no matches as it’s the October week. Robert is out tonight, so I have the tv to myself and tomorrow the boys are at a strong man event. Aria and I are having a girly day of playing with her dolls house and watching a film of her choice. Trolls I suspect.
Since it’s the October week, I have a couple of days off for some family fun. What are you up to this week? Have you had a good weekend?

That is a very impressive cloud photo. I am lucky in that I thoroughly enjoyed Friday the 13th as it was my birthday. #mysundayphoto
Love Aria’s enthusiasm! Kara is much the same with homework at the moment.
All bust here, as ever. Kara in particular has gym squad on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, and now dance classes on Saturday morning. Dad taxi is in full operation!
Those clouds are stunning #MySundayPhoto
I love her smile and hope you are feeling better soon. I didn’t even notice it was Friday 13th until half way through, I didn’t win the lottery so it wasn’t good for me! #MySundayPhoto

I love the curls! They really suit you. I’ve never known a cat to be so good at having its photograph taken. You need to sign Twilight up to a cat modelling agency!

I am loving the hair! Its half term here this week so we have some adventures planned. Monkey is five and starting to take an interest in football so I am guessing it won’t be long until we have training in our lives too! x
