Luna Petunia 35cm Doll With Sounds – Review

6th September 2017 By Susan Mann 2 Comments

Luna Petunia Doll With Sounds

Aria loves watching films and tv shows, unlike her brothers, so it’s a welcomed change. She loves anything magical and sparkly, so the tv show on Netflix called Luna Petunia is right up her street. Luna, a little girl, goes through a petunia in her bedroom wall and ends up in Amazia. Amazia is a colourful land where her toys come to life. They help her solve impossible problems she seems to encounter. Luna Petunia is inspired by the amazing Cirque du Soliel, who are amazing and Saban. One day I will see them perform. In the meantime, we can watch and explore the world of Luna Petunia via her toys and Netflix show.

One of the things we loved about the Luna Petunia 35cm Doll With Sounds was that she can be played with straight out the box. Remove the tags and she’s ready to play and talk. Yes, she even comes with batteries. Bonus, I know.

Fun with Luna Petunia Doll

The lovely talking Luna Petunia looks exactly as she does in the tv show with her gorgeous bright blue sparkly hair, big eyes, pendant and fabulous outfit. Her hair is fantastic. It’s such a vibrant colour, one that kids will be attracted to.
Flying Luna Petunia Doll

You can remove Luna Petunia’s boots and jewellery, but unfortunately, you can dress and undress Luna Petunia’s clothes. But, she doesn’t have any other clothes, not ideal, but it’s really so she stays in character with her character on the tv show. They are cool clothes though. The boots are fab. Plus she can stand up and is a sturdy size to be played with and zoomed about the room like Aria liked to do, taking her off on adventures.

Talking Luna

The best part of the Luna Petunia talking doll is that she talks of course. To get her to talk, you press the necklace. This triggers the button underneath. She says seven phrases in total. Catchphrases from the TV show. They come out loud and clear. Random sayings, but there are enough of them, that it makes it fun and not repetitive. She is very cute.

Talking with Luna

Aria has had lots of fun chatting to Luna and playing some role-playing action scenes like on the show. We’ve not done anything with the hair yet, it looks too good to touch, so I’m not sure how it’ll go if brushed. For now, just look at that amazing sparkly hair.

Playing with Luna Petunia Doll

We’ve had so much fun and continuing to have fun with Luna Petunia. She’s a gorgeous doll, looks great, is fun and the sounds are an added bonus. I do like that they are random and it’s not driven me nuts yet. If you have a little Luns Petunia fan, then I am sure they will love this. At £24.99 I think this is a good price for this doll. It’s sturdy, well made and just look at those gorgeous, vibrant colours. Talking Luna Petunia doll is by Funrise Toys and is available exclusively at Smyths Toys. Plus keep an eye on their twitter and facebook pages as Luna Petunia herself will be making some visits instore.

My granddaughter had hers and the neck snapped. Feeling so bad it does not hold up to children’s rough play

Oh dear that is not good. We’ve had ours for over a year now with no issues. Could you contact the manufacturer in case there was a fault with your one xx
