Start-Rite Princess Elza School School Shoes – Review

4th August 2017 By Susan Mann 4 Comments

Start Rite Shoes

As many of you know, Aria is starting school this month. I know, how is that possible? I have agonised for a while now over what shoes to buy her. Like myself, she has a high instep so there aren’t many shoes that fit properly. The importance of getting shoes that fit and are comfortable are utmost my priority and Start Rite shoes fit this bill. Not only do they fit perfectly, but they are designed to last.

Start Rite

There are quite a few shoe shops who sell Start Rite shoes, so you can go in and try them on as well as purchasing them. However, they have a great selection online and sevice. We picked these ones for her starting school. These ones are Princess Elza and Aria absolutely loves them. She chose them herself. I am kind of jealous they don’t do them in my size.

Princess Elza

The shoes come in a beautiful box with a pretty picture of Princess Elza and her cat on the front. Inside are the shoes packaged with tissue paper and some inside the shoes to protect when travelling. The shoes come with pretty little bows on the straps, but they also have little charms that you can add to the shoes. There are little heart shaped lockets and little crowns. Each have amazing detail on them. The slip easily onto the straps, but are sturdy enough to stay in place.

Charms

These are the first patent shoes that I’ve gotten Aria, but they are fantastically well made and are scuff resistant. Don’t they look great. It will give her a whole heap of confidence stepping into school on her first day.

Start Right Princess Elza Shoes

At school the children have to be able to change into their indoor shoes, so it’s important to get ones that she can easily take off and on. This is why I chose ones with the velcro straps. The straps are long, which is great as it doesn’t dig into her foot the way others do, due to her high instep. They can be easily adjusted and stay in place. The width fittings do make that difference and these are shoes they will be wearing a lot. You want something they are comfortable in and not just look good. They want to be able to play and run around without the fear they will fall off or dig into their delicate skin.

With Charms

We absolutely love the Start-Rite Princess Elza school shoes  they are beautiful to look at with their intricate design on the front, the shine from the patent is lovely and the scruff resistant front gives peace of mind that they will last. The shoes are a great fit and they come in half sizes and has three different width fittings, which makes a big difference. They are a good price at an RRP of £47.99. Most importantly Aria loves them and is excited to wear them to school. I can highly recommend Start-Rite shoes and will definitely be buying more in the future.

Disclosure:- We were sent the above product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

They are super cute. We can only do Start rite for Mini. Nothing else fits as well or lasts. We love them.
