Last weekend we had some sunshine as you can see in my top photo, it was beautiful and a welcomed sight. Sunshine really does make everything seem better. It was just what I needed. Dust the cobwebs off and get outdoors. I had a lovely mother’s day with some fab personalised gifts one being the My Mummy Mr Men book which is one I will always treasure. We spent some time out for dinner and had a huge ice-cream along with some trampolining. A lovely trip to the library where the kids got a few books and I got a fab Scottish folklore book. I love that the kids enjoy visiting the library as much as I do. Tyler had a football match which we watched and he enjoyed it.
Work has been busy, but had some time off to help at the school for spring activity day, for which Tyler painted his hard boiled egg for the competition. I think he did a great job, even if he didn’t win. I took Aria and her wee bestie to Air Space during the week for the toddler session since she couldn’t go at the weekend with the boys. It was her wee bestie’s birthday so we had fun doing that. The toddler session was fab and a lot busier than I thought it would be.
Twilight got a wee operation to get dressed during the week. She was a wee soul and not a happy bunny. She wouldn’t keep the cone of shame on and went back to get checked today, Saturday, thankfully, she’s recovering well. Onwards and upwards. Can’t believe she’s going to be a year this month.
This weekend, Robert is on his annual trip to Newcastle with his friends. So the kids and I are home alone. They think they are having a sleepover downstairs. We will see how that goes. I have a migraine from hell this week, so I have bought a concoction of items to see if I can shift it.
It’s been a fun filled week with Easter activities, birthday celebration and mother’s day. Now the kids have finished up for spring break for two weeks. I am working a lot of it, but have some time off with them to do something fun. The boys have football camp too so they are looking forward to that. It’s a fun weekend so far. How has your week been? Hope you are having a good weekend.
