Haircuts, Football Spectating And Outdoor Adventures – Our Weekly Photos Week 15

8th April 2017 By Susan Mann 28 Comments

Haircuts

Football Spectating

Outdoor Adventures

Last weekend Robert was away in Newcastle and the kids and I were home alone. We had lots of fun getting haircuts, football and some playing together. The boys are very strict these days about what they want their hair like. Very much footballer inspired as you can see. They asked for what they wanted and you can see the end result. Aria also got her haircut. Just a little trim, but this was the first time she sat up on the big chair herself instead of on my knee. She was a little star and sat quite the thing. I think the lollypop at the end makes all the difference.

On Sunday Tyler had his football matches. As usual we all went to see him play, they were a coach down with Robert and his friend being away, but I managed to avoid coaching this time, but do help organise. Aria loves to watch the games as long as she has some snacks. She likes to dress up for the occassion as you can see. She is little Miss independent when it comes to choosing clothes, she knows her own mind and has her own style.

This week the kids have been off school and nursery for the Easter holidays. I have been working some of it, but I had Tuesday off and we went to the park with some friends. We took a picnic and got ready for an adventure. Unfortunately, it started to rain, which would have been fine, but it was bitter, bitter cold and I was turning blue. We stayed for a few hours, ate our picnic, played in the park and had fun. But, the cold won out in the end and we went home to do some crafts. It was a lovely day off though. The rest of the week the children have been with my mum or Robert’s mum and have been having fun with them.

Both Robert and I had Friday off and we went out for the day and had a lot of fun. I will tell you more about that next week as I’m getting ready for a weekend away. Yes, you heard right I am heading away for an overnight. Just Robert and I and I can’t wait. I am looking forward to relaxing, going for dinner and enjoying being together for a bit. Don’t worry the kids will have a ball with my mum. She and her partner have lots planned and a wee day trip. I will share our photos of our weekend away next week. Or I’m sure you’ll see them on twitter and Instagram, I don’t think I’ll be able to stay off social media for that long.

It’s been a fun week with the Easter activities holidays. Are your children off for the Easter holidays. How has your week been? Hope you are having a good weekend. Do let me know in the comments on over on social media. Have a good week.

All great photos as ever, but I did have to do a double-take at the one in front of the tree – at first glance it looks as if Aria is suspended in mid-air!

A night away without kids? Wow, it’s been along time since we’ve done that! Enjoy! Great selection of photos too and impressed you stayed out for so long despite the cold on Tuesday. #MySundayPhoto

Love that Aria brings the glamour for watching football in her fabulous skirt! Would you believe my daughter has never been to a hairdresser? Daddy just gives her hair a little trim about once every six months! Hope you have a lovely weekend away.

We are having a really chilled holiday and the kids are all enjoying spending time with each other. We don’t all get together so often now, so it’s special enough just to watch a movie or play a game. Your photos this week are gorgeous 🙂

Have a fabulous weekend away. My boys are like yours are, very specific about hair styles. I hope hubby enjoyed his time in Newcastle. Sometimes it’s nice to fly solo for a weekend isn’t it? Thank you for linking up to #PointShoot 📸

Thankfully H isn’t too fussy on the haircut front yet, but he won’t tolerate it being too short. You always seem to manage some lovely shots of the 3 of them.
