Pancake Day, Football Boots And A School Visit – Our Weekly Photos Week 10

4th March 2017 By Susan Mann 28 Comments

Pancake Day

Football Boots School Visit

Last Sunday I had another dinner date with a friend, it was nice, but felt a bit guilty leaving the kids, they aren’t keen on me going out, especially when I’m with them all day. It’s different if I head out straight from work. I was only out a few hours and was there when the inevitable “mum” shouts come in the middle of the night.

We’d been out shopping for some new football boots for both the boys, their feet have grown and we’d put it off until the start of the new season which was today, Saturday. The boy were delighted with their boot and couldn’t wait to play.

Monday, was a tough day at work and I was glad to be home. I had some time off to make some pancakes on Tuesday, it mandatory isn’t it? We had them for all three meals. I do love pancakes as do the kids and we had a lot of fun following our traditional pancake recipe. The kids all tossed their own pancake and oldest tried to do a daddy pig and get it stuck to the ceiling, thankfully he didn’t succeed, but a lot of fun was had.

Work, school, nursery Wednesday and then on Thursday, I picked Aria up from nursery and we had a wee lunch date before heading to school for a school visit. They got to go in and get a story from one of their teachers. She went in no problem, wee star that she is. And we talked about reading, etc. I’m an old pro at this by now. Then it was after school club, which I don’t normally get to go to, which was fun.

Friday was working for me, but hubby took the boys to the wrestling in the evening which they had fun at. Tyler as a little bit wary of them, but enjoyed the show overall. This weekend it’s football and football. Oldest won his match today, Saturday and even scored. Tomorrow is Tyler’s first match of the season. It’s all go. It takes up a lot of out time at the weekend, but they love it and it’s what they want to do. Hubby runs the club now, and spend so much time coaching, learning and running the whole show. I think he does a fantastic job.

How has your week been? What have you been up to recently? Let me know in the comments below or drop me a message on my social media channels. Have a good weekend.

Love those football boots. They practically shine! Well done to your boy for scoring a goal. I’m in awe of your husband for running the club. My husband ran a team for five seasons and that was a lot of work, running the club must be even more work!

Brilliant pancake photos, I love, love, love that you had them for every meal. That shows dedication 🙂 I like the football boots too, I know getting involved in children’s sports can be hugely time consuming but there’s lots of rewards for it too. Enjoy your week : )

What a busy week darling and gorgeous pics, love Aria’s hair plaited and your boys are such cuties too. Gorgeous family. Love you ate pancakes in every meal too and what a star your husband is running the club. Xander is such a great little footballer but because Oliver doesn’t like it, it’s putting him off. I really want to get him into a club x
