Reflections, Snowfall And Blowing Bubbles – Our Weekly Photos Week 9

25th February 2017 By Susan Mann 24 Comments

Blowing Bubbles

Last weekend I went out with my friend for dinner and the cinema. We’ve been best friend since we were two years old. Pretty incredible considering we didn’t go to school together and I moved towns when we were still primary school age. Β It was lovely to catch up and chat without our children fighting for our attention.

Work has been busy this week, it’s been quite difficult to balance work, kids, house, homework, blog and everything else this week, but we just do the best we can don’t we? Boys have been good and Aria has been enjoying nursery. Football, netball and all the usual after school clubs.

I was off with Aria on Tuesday afternoon and she had fun looking at her reflection. Thursday saw some snowfall, but it didn’t stick around long enough to play in. Just enough to disrupt the commute to work. Looks pretty though. I do love watching snow fall. The world around becomes silent. Travelling, not so much. Friday afternoon Aria and I blew some bubbles. Time is never wasted blowing bubbles is it? So relaxing. It is one of our favourite things to do. We had to blow them inside though as it was far too cold.

Football training, on Saturday, thankfully no match as it’s blowing gale Dorris. Aria and I stayed in as I have the cold, again!! We made chocolate cupcakes, read Gobbolino the Witch’s cat and watched The Worst Witch. I’m reliving my 80’s childhood and introducing little Miss to my love of witches. Never too early. Boys are at a motorbike party, I am terrified of motorbikes, so avoided at all costs.

How has your week been? What have you been up to recently? Let me know in the comments below or drop me a message on my social media channels. Have a good weekend.

Love the two shots of Aria in particular. She really is a natural looking straight into the camera, and the top shot of her gazing into the mirror is fab. πŸ™‚

You can’t beat a bit of bubble fun. Even now I keep a tube of bubbles in the drawer to use on wet afternoons.
