This week has been a busy one with work again, I’ve worked long hours and extra days. I was even at work so early, that I got to see the most spectacular sunrise above. It certainly cheered me up. Pretty isn’t it? I love pretty skies and feature them often in my Instagram if you fancy following me over there. Any spare time has been spent with the kids. Tyler bought himself new cushions for the new sofa in the living room. The ones I made weren’t soft enough. He is such a tactile and sensory boy. He adores anything soft, from teddies, blankets, jackets and everything in between. Wee cutie.
Lucas has been having a tough time recently, his emotions are all over the place and he’s not sure why. Possibly hormones? He’s still quite young I thought. But, he has been so upset and then angry and it’s been hard. I’ve found it difficult as a parent, when a hug doesn’t make it all better. It certainly helps, but he doesn’t know why he is feeling the way he is. We can only talk and listen.
I spent Friday afternoon with Aria, we went for a lunch date with her friend from nursery and painted our nails afterwards. The boys and I had some fun playing with boxes after school. We don’t get half term as such here, but get a couple of days off next week. I am off one, but granny has some crafts planned for one of their days off. They’ll love it.
This weekend is filled with our first football match of the season, which is friendly for Lucas. And a few other bits and pieces. Not sure about Sunday yet. How has your week been? What have you been up to recently?

I’ve loved every one of these photos on Instagram this week. You capture all your children so well. I ope the football was good today.
Ah, I remember seeing the sunrise photo on your IG feed – a particularly good one!
Gorgeous photos!
Aww! I hope things are better for Lucas soon and the football match went well x
These photos have a softness about them, quite lovely #MySundayPhoto
Love the sunrise and wonderful use of filters. Sorry to read about your sun. May be talking completely out of turn, but I know someone whose daughter is going through an early puberty and displaying the symptoms you talk about so he may not be too young. #MySundayPhoto
So sorry to hear Lucas has been having a tough time and hope it gets sorted soon. x
Lovely set of photos, that sunrise is simply stunning. Gentle hugs to Lucas, I hope his mood improves soon x
I love a lovely sky photo too, the one above is very pretty. All your children are super sweet #mysundayphoto
That sunrise is spectacular, makes the marks mornings worth while. I think the photos of your children are all wonderful.
I do hope things start easing up for Lucas, it’s so difficult for you as a parent be watch.

Aww hope work quietens down for you soon. It’s been manic at ours too but Im off some of this week…which may or may not be wise 🙂 I love your sky pictures. They always look so dramatic!

Some gorgeous photos there. Love, love, love your sunrise. I hope Lucas feels better soon x
I love the sunrise photo, such beautiful colours.
Your sunrise
photos are almost as gorgeous as the ones of your children 🙂
I think hormones and the such are coming earlier and earlier – we definitely have them in the house with the 8 and 10 year old! Beautiful pics of your beautiful kiddos x
Beautiful shots! 📸 That sunset is spectacular. Gorgeous portraits of your little people too! 💙
Adorable little ones. As a mummy to two, one of whom is an 7, nearly 8 year old girl, hormones are all over the place constantly. It seems like teens are starting extremely early. I start work at 7 am 🙁 and love seeing the sunrise, gives a real sense of calm before the chaos ensues!
What gorgeous photos! Especially the sky photo! x
We have a lot of moods from H. I originally thought hormones were a 13+ thing, but it seems to be much earlier than I thought.
OH bless we had a period where MM emotions went wild luckily it only lasted a month and has been a while since. No idea what happened. Lovely to have a few days together and afternoon fun. Sunrise is beautiful. That would make me happy too. #ordinarymoments
That sunrise is gorgeous! I hope he’s feeling more himself by now. Thank you so much for joining in #HappyDaysLinky xx
Oh growing up is so hard isn’t I? I think mood swings are part and parcel of getting older but he looks so little, poor little guy! It sounds like a lovely day with Aria x
Gorgeous, gorgeous kids! That sunrise is so wonderful. Thanks for linking up to #PointShoot x
hope they enjoyed the crafts with granny.

Nice to know the early starts have such a positive side.
Sunrise is amazing! Beautiful! Ah sounds like a perfect lunch date Sorry for the late comment! #mysundayphoto
Oh dear children and their hormones. My daughter and her friends seem particularly affected at the moment. I hope once the stresses of the SATs exams have passed things will ease slightly.
That sunrise is absolutely amazing! Growing up is hard maybe he is just going through a phase #pointshoot
That sunrise is just stunning. Sorry to hear that Lucas is having a tough time – so hard when you don’t really know how to make it better. Hugs are always good. Sounds like you had a lovely lunch date with Aria 🙂
