Trees, Supermoon And Hospital Visits – Our Weekly Photos Week 47

This week I’ve still been poorly with a kidney infection, I got stronger antibiotics on Wednesday so hopefully they will help. Both Tyler and Aria got their flu shots at the time and we had a wee lunch together instead of school and nursery which was lovely. On Monday I was gutted not to see the supermoon, I had been looking forward to it, but it was too cloudy. I waited until the early hours of the morning and managed to catch a glimpse and a photo, which I was pleased at. We went out and played in some leaves and I love the picture of the kids standing in front of this amazing tree, like the stickman family tree. Tyler got hurt at football on Thursday evening and was still in some pain on Friday evening, so we took him up to A&E, thankfully his arm wasn’t broken, just badly bruised and sprained. Aria had her parents evening, it went well and she is settling in, but we are still undecided about school for next year. She really needs to be able to speak out a little more and use the toilet in nursery would also be a start. We’ve been getting a new bathroom fitted this week, so it’s been a bit of upheaval, but it is finished and looks lovely. It’s been a bit of a hectic and draining week both in work and family life with everything going on, on top of feeling poorly. I really hope these antibiotics can do the trick.  How was your week?

Love your photo from the park there, the colours and light are beautiful. There was no chance of seeing the super moon here, it was thick mist all evening, love your photo when you finally got a glimpse. Fingers crossed you are feeling better soon, lunch with the children sounds a lovely treat.

Love the moon photo – I totally forgot to have my camera upstairs with me – for when N woke me at 4.30 am saying about the orange moon right by the window (or so it looked).

Sorry you are still not feeling well. nothing worse as parents cannot take a week off “work”.
Yes was too overcast here for moon pics as well, but that is a nice picture to have manage to take.
Glad his arm is not broken.
I am sure Aria will settle, they are still very young at nursery age really.

Sounds like a rough week, but great that you all got to spend the day together. Great picture, I missed the supermoon too because of the thick clouds, at least you got one eventually, I was fast asleep by then! Hope the new antibiotics help x

Your kids are just adorable! It’s not easy to know what’s best for them, but sometimes you just have to trust yourself and let them be who they are. I missed the supermoon, too, but your waiting certainly paid off. I do hope you are feeling better soon. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope you’re feeling better with the new treatment. You must be thoroughly fed up of seeing doctors and nurses at the moment. It was too cloudy here as well to see the supermoon. I kept checking but it had gone behind the houses by the time the clouds had gone.
