This week I’ve still been poorly with a kidney infection, I got stronger antibiotics on Wednesday so hopefully they will help. Both Tyler and Aria got their flu shots at the time and we had a wee lunch together instead of school and nursery which was lovely. On Monday I was gutted not to see the supermoon, I had been looking forward to it, but it was too cloudy. I waited until the early hours of the morning and managed to catch a glimpse and a photo, which I was pleased at. We went out and played in some leaves and I love the picture of the kids standing in front of this amazing tree, like the stickman family tree. Tyler got hurt at football on Thursday evening and was still in some pain on Friday evening, so we took him up to A&E, thankfully his arm wasn’t broken, just badly bruised and sprained. Aria had her parents evening, it went well and she is settling in, but we are still undecided about school for next year. She really needs to be able to speak out a little more and use the toilet in nursery would also be a start. We’ve been getting a new bathroom fitted this week, so it’s been a bit of upheaval, but it is finished and looks lovely. It’s been a bit of a hectic and draining week both in work and family life with everything going on, on top of feeling poorly. I really hope these antibiotics can do the trick. How was your week?
Love the photo of the supermoon – so crisp and clear with the detail!
I hope you feel better soon…
I missed the supermoon as well. It was cloudy here too.
Love your photo from the park there, the colours and light are beautiful. There was no chance of seeing the super moon here, it was thick mist all evening, love your photo when you finally got a glimpse. Fingers crossed you are feeling better soon, lunch with the children sounds a lovely treat.
Kidney infection sounds pretty awful. I do hope antibiotics #2 are kicking in.
I love the photo of the Supermoon, it was a bit too cloudy for me to get a decent shot.
Enjoy lunch! #SundayPhoto
Well pou’ve had a bust time of it haven’t you? Hope those antibios do the trick. Great shot of the supermoon. Mine was nothing more than a white blur. #MySUndayPhoto
Lots going on this week when you aren’t well. Hope the antibiotics do the trick. Lovely shot of Tyler.
I really hope you are feeling better soon. Great photo of the moon. We didn’t get to see it here either which was a shame #MySundayPhoto
That is a hectic week! I really hope you feel better soon and so glad to hear Tyler’s arm wasn’t broken. Love the photo of the kids by the tree, can’t believe they’re only wearing Tshirts! x
Stunning moon photo, it was too cloudy down here to really see it
Thank you for linking up
I love that supermoon so much. I never managed to catch it but it was so stunning for days wasn’t it? I love your bathroom too. We’ve needed to do ours for a while now!
Hope you feel better next week, there is nothing worse that feeling rubbish, we were lucky to have clear skies on Monday so got to see the super moon I wasn’t that worried until Joe showed me through his binoculars and wow it was fab x
Sounds like a tough week with one thing and another. That moon picture is fab. #366
Love the moon photo – I totally forgot to have my camera upstairs with me – for when N woke me at 4.30 am saying about the orange moon right by the window (or so it looked).
Sorry you are still not feeling well. nothing worse as parents cannot take a week off “work”.
Yes was too overcast here for moon pics as well, but that is a nice picture to have manage to take.
Glad his arm is not broken.
I am sure Aria will settle, they are still very young at nursery age really.
Sounds like a rough week, but great that you all got to spend the day together. Great picture, I missed the supermoon too because of the thick clouds, at least you got one eventually, I was fast asleep by then! Hope the new antibiotics help x
Your kids are just adorable! It’s not easy to know what’s best for them, but sometimes you just have to trust yourself and let them be who they are. I missed the supermoon, too, but your waiting certainly paid off. I do hope you are feeling better soon. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
Look how tall they are getting! Are they up to your shoulders yet? 😀 X x
Sounds like you’ve had a tough week. I hope you are all feeling much better now #mycapturedmoment
Oh no I hope you feel better soon, kidney infections are so painful. I love the first picture, very autumnal and that tree looks really old. I hope this week has been better for you all xx #MyCapturedMoment
What a super super-moon shot! Wow! #MySundayPhoto
i hope the antibiotics are working for you now Susan? must be so hard for you to be in so much pain.
great photo of the super moon – it was too cloudy here for us to catch a glimpse sadly
gorgeous photos of your children – the one of the three of them looks like it could be summer by what they are wearing!
xx

That is a fab capture! It wasn’t so big here which was ask disappointing. I hope you are feeling better now. Thank you for joining in #HappyDaysLinky xx
I hope you’re feeling better with the new treatment. You must be thoroughly fed up of seeing doctors and nurses at the moment. It was too cloudy here as well to see the supermoon. I kept checking but it had gone behind the houses by the time the clouds had gone.
I hope you are feeling better now huni. It is so tough being ill when you have kids. Gorgeous pictures huni. Thanks for linking up to #PointShoot x
Oh wow, what a week! I hope you’re all on the mend! x
