Aberdeen And Tree Climbing – Our Weekly Photos Week 32

6th August 2016 By Susan Mann 29 Comments

Last weekend we went to Aberdeen. We had the best time and it was so good to be away and enjoy some family time. I will be blogging more about it soon and lots of pictures. On my day off we went to the park and did some tree climbing. Resulted in Lucas climbing through the forest up a large hill and getting stuck. Thankfully Tyler came to the rescue. The boys have also enjoyed being back at football camp all week. Next week is our last week of the holidays, can you believe it? How was your week?

Glad to hear that you had a lovely weekend in Aberdeen and that Tyler came to Lucas’ rescue when he got stuck. Love the photo of Aria climbing the tree 🙂

Sounds like your trip to Aberdeen was a great success and lovely to be able to spend time with the kids too. Tree climbing is always a favourite here but always turns in to a competition that ends up with someone stuck too high! I think Aria is the sensible one on a lower branch there.
Gorgeous capture of the three of them looking out to sea too, they always look like such good company for each other in your photos.

Thank you for sharing at #CountryKids, I’ve just added your link in!

Ah ha, yes, my eldest has been climbing trees this week, which is great because kids don’t do that kind of thing enough these days. Been to Scotland many a time, but never to Aberdeen. Great pics, very summer holiday-esque. #MySundayPhoto

I love the picture of her in the tree. Her leg seems to follow the line of the tree so the whole photo looks rather balletic #countrykids

Love the photo of Aria, gorgeous. Aberdeen’s one place I’ve never been. Can’t believe your holidays are almost over – it’s funny also reading US bloggers as their timings seem similar to Scotland.

I’ve never been as far north as Aberdeen but I would love to have a look at its architecture. You can’t beat a tree for some free fun but a good job brother was on hand!

I like where you have taken the beach picture from, did they go and play, was it warm enough to paddle. I know a week on wednesday ours go back to school.

My cousins live in Aberdeen I’m determined to take the kids some day as I’ve not been since I was 10. It’s a long old drive from Surrey. Great pictures. Sarah #WhatecerTheWeather

There’s nothing like climbing a tree when you’re a child, is there? I don’t even have a school aged child and I can’t believe how quickly the holidays have flown by – it seems like schools broke up last week! #WhatevertheWeather

It looks like a great place for a spot of tree climbing! I haven’t been to Aberdeen in years, but it’s where I went to uni, so it holds a place in my heart, with lots of memories. Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 x
