The Simple Things – Our Weekly Photo Week 24

11th June 2016 By Susan Mann 33 Comments

making daisy chains

This week I have been really busy at work and worked my days off, which is hard as I miss the kids. Not to mention all the catching up, homework, etc. We also had some fun watching the musical theatre display of Pirate and Mermaids, where Lucas was the sound technician. After a long day at work, I love nothing more than going home to give the kids a hug and read them bedtime stories. Thursday evening, Aria and I sat out the front and made some daisy chains waiting on Tyler finishing football. It was lovely and simple. It really is the simple things that make you smile. The boys both have football tournaments this weekend. Final games of the season. For now it’s all go with year end school and football. How was your week?

Simple yet beautiful! Do you know I struggle to make a daisy chain these days but it was second nature to me as a child. I think my fingers are now to big for it or the daisy stems are shinking!

one of the draw backs of working is missing the kids, always admire people that manage to do kids a job and a house. Love the daisy chain and she looks happy with it.
