Tuck N Snug – Your Answer To Keeping Your Child’s Duvet On

27th April 2016 By Susan Mann 3 Comments

Aria hasn’t been my worst sleeper, but she is far from great. Like all babies they have good nights and bad nights, that in turn heads in to the toddlers years and so on. From illness to night mares, there are an infinite number of reasons. One that plagued me five or six times every night was my little wriggly toddler kicking her covers off. She’d wake up shouting my name to put her covers back on. I had tried all different options to try to resolve this, on top of the usual wake up, this was one I didn’t need. I took myself to twitter, desperate for an answer to me sleep deprived prayers and as usual twitter came back with the answer I needed. In the form of Tuck n Snug.

Tuck N Snug Toddler Bed Duvet

I hadn’t heard of them before this point, I have to be honest. Now I have and since I’ve been using Tuck n Snug since the end of last year, I’ve been telling everyone who will listen how good it is. Let me tell you why. When your little one goes to sleep, they toss and turn and the covers come off. Or they slide off. No amount of tucking the sides in will help. Tuck n Snug comes in two size one fits a normal size single duvet and one toddler bed duvet. Same goes for the pillows. Tuck n Snug goes on like a normal duvet and pillow cover. So what’s different? Well, Tuck n Snug have flaps that are added onto the side of the duvet cover and the pillow cover. The flaps are made of fabric, that get tucked under the mattress. These are genius.

Tuck n Snug Pillow

See, genius! Now when I first got it, I was worried that it would be tight fitting and she wouldn’t be able to move. You know a little rigid once the sides were tucked in. I was surprised to find that the flaps on the duvet weren’t right on the side, they are actually a little underneath. This means that the duvet still sits on the bed like a duvet, with the sides hanging over at the edge. The flaps are also not at the top of the duvet cover, they are a little further down, meaning your little one can get their arms in and out. And you can fold it down for your little ones to get into bed. They have really thought of everything.

Tuck n Snug Duvet

The duvet’s come in two designs at present a cute little kitty and a cute little puppy, with more to follow next month. The material is soft and most importantly washes and dries great. We have used it every day since we got it. It’s been washed and dried and back on in the same day. I am never going back to a normal duvet again. Most importantly Aria loves it.

The packaging comes with a fab colouring picture that  your little one can colour and upload to them. A lovely little touch. No more numerous wake up calls to put their duvet covers back on, they keep your little ones snug. No more getting up to put the duvet back on when your little one wakes up cold.

Sleeping

I can’t guarantee Tuck n Snug will solve all  your sleeping problems, but it will certainly help keep the covers on your little one. They will be snug, but not restricted, they can still toss and turn, but still warm under their covers. The duvet and pillow are held in place for a restful night for your all. We love this product, truly I would tell everyone about it. From May there are two lovely new designs to chose from, I am looking forward to seeing these. Prices start at £39.95, it might be a little more expensive than some on the market, but I think it’s worth every penny and it will last for years.

Disclosure: I was sent this product for the purpose of my review, however my thoughts & opinions are my own.

I’m quite intrigued by this. My youngest gets all around his bed at night and obviously when it’s cold he wakes. He’s older, but he also likes to feel secure in bed, so this could be the perfect answer for him – although they need some more grown up designs! 😀

What a good idea! Erin isn’t old enough for this yet but I’d keep it in mind for when she is
