Falling in Love with Frozen All Over Again

8th April 2016 By Susan Mann 5 Comments

Frozen

We are huge fans of Frozen here, it is one film that all the kids like. And you can hear Aria on my occasion belting out Let it go. In fact she thinks the film is called Let it Go. It’s very cute. We haven’t watched it in a while as the boys have been watching something on the tv or we’ve been out or something. However, when we found out it was coming to Netflix, we were very excited. We love Netflix.

Frozen is one of those films that you can watch over and over again. Curled up on the sofa with a blanket, munching on some popcorn on a Sunday afternoon, it’s bliss. What we love about Frozen, is the songs of course, they are catchy and fun, but the film has some great characters, strong independent females that can hold their own, but aren’t afraid of help when needed. Olaf is such a funny character, who doesn’t fail to put a smile on your face. He’s got a big heart and comes away with some cracking one-liners.

BUILD-A-SNOWMAN-OLAF

What I love about Frozen is the magical element, I am a sucker for witches, witchcraft and spells alike, Elsa falls into this category. She can create that stunning castle out of ice. Breathtaking. I love everything magic. Plus what a dress, that sparkly blue number is stunning. She zapped it out of the end of her fingers. Now if only I could do that. And Anna’s hair, well Aria think she is Anna since she has the same hair as her. Cute.

I remember when Frozen came out at the cinema, I am sure my oldest has a wee crush on Elsa. Both the boys enjoy the film. There is plenty of action to keep them amused and they are both big fans of Olaf. There are many laugh out loud moments in the film, who doesn’t find someone falling in the snow funny. Snow is the perfect setting for the adventure.

Disney Frozen

I saw the future… And went upstairs last weekend and found Aria sitting like this. She’s only just turned 3. I think I may have saw tween Aria. There she was sitting in the corner, with my ipad, Elsa and Anna tsum tsum’s all sitting quite happily watching Frozen. She’d just painted her nails, thankfully with wipe off nail varnish. It’s the only thing for toddlers. I had to capture the moment. What to do think?

Aria is a huge fan of Disney as you can see with her Minnie Mouse outfits, she love Princesses and singing. Disney songs are her favourite, Frozen is right up there. Do you wanna build a snowman…. You know you’re singing this in your head now aren’t you?

If you’ve not seen it, what are you waiting for? You’ll love it. If you have, you know you want to see it again. It is only on for one month, so be quick and get your fill of Olaf, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and of course belt out some Let it go…..

Love that photo of “tween” Aria – so cute. We’re big Frozen fans here – my girls love it and now we’ve got Frozen Fever on DVD, we get endless repeats of that one too. I’m quite partial to belting out a bit of “Let it Go” myself – although I now get told to stop singing because the girls want to sing it! It’s such a great film though 🙂
