Happy Easter From Hotel Chocolat

17th March 2016 By Susan Mann 5 Comments

Hotel Chocolat Bag

I absolutely love Hotel Chocolat, they are one of my guilty pleasures and by far one of my favourite treats. So when they got in touch asking if I’d like to review something from their new range of Easter goodies, did I have a choice? Of course not. I had to bring this to my readers attention, didn’t I? I was sent through an adorable box of a dozen Quail Egglets and Caramel Bunny Selector. What can I say? You have to check these out, they are amazing!

A beautifully packaged bag, pictured above arrived, within wrapped in some luxurious tissue paper lay the delights that are Hotel Chocolat. If you have never tasted Hotel Chocolat chocolates before, where have you been? And treat yourself. If you have, you’ll know what I mean, when I say they are a little taste of heaven. They are sweet, but not sickly and they taste like they should. Strawberry cream, will taste of strawberry cream, not a fake taste. These are chocolate at it’s best.

First up are the Caramel City Bunnies Selector. This little package of goodies is a great price of £3.85 for 6 adorable little bunnies made of 40% milk chocolate and filled with the most succulent molten caramel. These ooze luxury and taste divine. I would say they look too good to eat, but they taste too good not to eat.

The next item I tried was the Dozen Chocolate Quail Egglets. These are adorable and definitely my kind of Easter egg. They look great, are small enough to pop one in your mouth without anyone noticing and they’ll be gone come Easter Monday. This little selection has a pair of Raspberry Supermilk, which are tangy like raspberries, a pair of Mousse au Chocolat, which is light a fluffy in the inside. Then come a pair of Peanut Butter Praline, if you are a peanut butter and chocolate fan, then these are up your street. The Strawberries and Cream pair were one of my favourites, I am a big fan of which chocolate and these tasted fresh and creamy. My favourite are the Salted Caramel. I don’t know why, but I do love the taste. Lastly two Hazelnut Praline’s. Each one has it’s own unique taste and delight-fullness.

Quail Eggletts

The Chocolate Quail Egglets come in at £10 for a box, which I think is excellent value. One of the things about Hotel Chocolat is that they do last as you can’t sit and eat the full box. Well I can’t anyway. They are something of a luxury, something you save for a Saturday night. As rock and roll as mine are. They are something to savour and enjoy.

Just look how great they look. Now, all I need to hope is no one in my family reads this post, as I haven’t shared a single one. Nope, and I don’t plan to either. These are my babies. Would you share?

In case you hadn’t guessed it by now, I’d highly recommend buying something this Easter for yourself, your children or a loved one from Hotel Chocolat. They have a fantastic range to suit all budgets and tastes. They are a little bit of heaven. Enjoy.

I did a review of Hotel Chocolat Easter eggs back in 2012, you can read how much I have loved them ever since. I’d love to know what your favourite Easter treat is?

Disclaimer:- I was sent through the Quail Egglets and Caramel Bunnies, but all my words are my own and I don’t plan on sharing.

I really fancy those Quails Eggs – they look lovely. I’m sure you only told us 5 of the 6 flavours though 😀
