The colours of the leaves on the trees are changing. The air has turned cold, crisp and dry. This can only mean on thing, yes you guessed it, autumn has arrived and it’s time to get some new boots. I am a HUGE fan of boots. I pretty much wear them everyday. Ok, with the exception of to the beach and on hot summer days. However, living in Scotland, those are few and far between. Boots are my go to footwear and what I feel most comfortable in, so when I was offered a chance to check out a brand new pair of boots from Matalan’s autumn and winter boots range for me and Aria of course I said yes.
My favourite boots are black with heels. What about you? I am not tiny, but I feel a lot more comfortable and elegant in a pair of heels. I chose the Strap Ankle Boots for myself. Ankle boots are perfect for this kind of weather, keep your feet warm and dry, but aren’t too restrictive. Knee high boots are my winter wear. What do you think?
For little miss we has a look together. We wanted something similar as she wants to copy her mummy. But, ankle boots aren’t really the best idea for toddlers who like to jump in muddy puddles, thank you Peppa. We picked out some pretty boots with flowers on them, the Girls Faux Fur Trim Boots. They have the fur which keeps her cozy and the look cute too. What do you think?
We went out together for a lovely little autumn walk to pick up some leaves for our leaf bowl and look for some conkers.
The boots look great and they feel great. The heels on mine are made of a hard wearing rubber, so that when you walk it’s bouncy. Extremely comfortable and the zips work well. I have had some boots that the zip is still and hurts your fingers to pull up, these are great. Aria’s boots look fab and fit well. She loves walking, skipping and jumping in them, a big thumbs up from her. We are all set for my favourite season of the year, in my favourite kind of footwear.
I’d love to know your favourite season and do you have a favourite kind of footwear?
Disclaimer:- I was sent a pair of boots for myself and toddler, but all words and opinions are my own.
