Where I Live – The Gallery 237

8th July 2015 By Susan Mann 8 Comments

This week’s The Gallery prompt is Where I Live on the lovely Tara’s Sticky Fingers Blog.

Where I live is a large town in Scotland. I love living in Scotland, the beautiful scenery, the accent, irn bru, haggis, what’s not to love. The rain, that’s what not to love. Normally I’m ok with this, but recently it’s been relentless. So much so, I thought about moving down south. Ok rant over about our crappy Summer weather.

I am not keen on city life, I don’t like the built up areas and hustle and bustle. Where I live there are trees, greenery, parks and places to feed the ducks. Yet, we close enough to the main cities. Scotland has some beautiful countryside and stunning architecture. I’d love to tour more in the future.

I think we are lucky where we live that we have so much beautiful land and scenery. The weather is rubbish though. x

Beautiful photos, I would love to visit Edinburgh, but sorry to hear about your rubbish summer weather! We haven’t had much rain all the way down in Gloucestershire (sorry!). x

Lots of love here for the trees Susan. I love Scotland. It has a definite feel all of it’s own. I think if you ever moved you would really miss it.

It’s tempting to move when it’s constantly raining isn’t it?
I don’t think I could see myself ever leaving Scotland though. The weather may be a pain in the arse, but it’s *my* pain in the arse, you know? 😉

Do you know I’ve never ever been to Glasgow, I must rectify that one day. I love Scotland, such a beautiful country.

Scotland is by far my favourite part of the UK, having only been there a handful of times I’ve always been blown away by the beauty. Also, everyone seems so friendly!
Don’t move south! You’ve got sooo much more positives than negatives up there!!
