This week’s The Gallery prompt is Spring over on the lovely Sticky Fingers Blog.
We’ve had the usual mixed bag of weather with sunshine, sleet, hail and even some snow thrown in. We have started to see the flowers start to grow and the small amount of sunshine we’ve seen has been a welcomed sight. We took advantage and went for a lovely picnic at Pollock Park which is one of National Trust Scotland properties. We even found a little friend.

Looks lovely! Got to enjoy the sun when it appears!
My recent post Hello Spring.
Ah the best of spring, lovely photos and glad you took advantage of the sunny spell. I hope it comes back for you soon too, par to the hail you have had! #TheGallery
Gorgeous photos. I'm hoping the sun is here to stay for awhile. x

My recent post Day 105 – Always and always
Beautiful, everything seems so much better when spring comes and the weather improves.
Love the ladybird photo!
Lovely photos – and what a lovely ladybird! He would have been christened Gaston in our house……

what a great shot of the ladybird! So beautiful! What a great weather too!
I love ladybirds, I’m now wondering if we have them in Cyprus as I can’t remember seeing any since living here!
I love that photo of the ladybird – cracking shot.
A stunning shot lovely! And love the new look of your blog. Currently working on mine and setting up a blog for Isabelle too… 😉
Looks like lovely weather (though we also had the sun/sleet/snow/rain/sun again weather madness!). I love the photo of the lady bird too. x
Life just feels so much better in the sunshine doesn’t it #CountryKids
Great ladybird shot, I haven’t seen any this year yet. Picnics always make me think of summer too, and definitely taste better in the sun. #countrykids
I Love the thought of Spring and then it comes and just chucks it down 🙂
Pollock Park looks like a great place to let off steam in the sunshine. Great shot of the ladybird on someones finger, it’s great to be able to get up close to wildlife in places like this. I love the photo of the two kids tucking into their sandwiches. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.
Yippee to picnics. My favourite thing in the world. The picture of A in the maze just beautiful
