Sometimes life gets on top of you, whether it’s work, kids, chores or just life in general. Recently I’ve been feeling like this. After speaking to one of my lovely friends Jax from LiveOtherwise on twitter, she was talking about going out into the garden and blowing bubbles. It had been too long since we’d done this.
Aria and I went outside and blew some bubbles up into the sky and watched them float away. I felt the stress of everyday life float away with it. I loved watching the ever changing colour of the bubble and how it disappeared from sight into the deep blue of the sky above.
I watched Aria chase the bubbles, trying to catch them, laughing that melodic laugh as they burst in front of here eyes. She’s going through so much just now with an illness, it’s nice to see her go catch a bubble. Let those cares float and melt away.

Oh what a gorgeous post! So pleased our chat helped, and I love your bubble pics 🙂
These are great pictures and a great post, I love bubbles. We brought Boo a trampoline that blows out bubbles when he jumps on it, it was about £20 more than all the other trampolines for his age but totally worth the money the boys get so much fun out of it. It is great to see them laughing with the bubbles. Hope you feel less stressed now and continue to do so xxx
Wonderful post and that top image is one of my favourite photos ever!
Beautiful bubbles – think I might try that this afternoon! xx
I agree, bubbles are so much fun! 🙂 Lovely photos. xx
PS: love your new header!
I love bubbles. They are magical. One of my favourite memories is of kneeling with children in Ghana and watching them as they blew bubbles for the first time. So simple and yet it totally had them captivated. I love them and you have captured them briliiantly in these pics
Totally agree-bubbles are magical whatever your age. I need to get a bubble machine-ours broke last year. A lovely post x
The problem is when your kids get older they grow out of these simple pleasures. I remember how we used to play for hours with a bubble wand. I’m totally going to get one again for the summer. Take them back to the simple things 🙂
Lovely post and Aria is a beautiful name. Enjoy the bubbles this summer.
Catching bubbles is such a fun and carefree way to unwind, it really does brighten up everybody’s day. There’s so many bubbles in your picture I bet it was great to be enjoying the sunshine and watching them float away as the kids ran around catching them. Just what you need at the moment. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.
I love bubbles and so do my kids, well I think everyone does. Catching them is so more fun #countrykids
Beautiful beautiful post. What a great piece of advice. I wish I could make the stresses leave you. You deserve to feel this free everyday. Our children and their laughter are the best cure for that for sure.
What a wonderful post Susan (can you tell I’m attempting to catch-up!). Such a great idea too to get outdoors and enjoy some bubbles – love the idea of them blowing the stresses away. I didn’t realise bubble machines were so cheap. POD saw one yesterday and she was mesmerised! Lovely post x
That first picture is simply stunning. I love how much fun children can have with bubbles.
Lovely photos. Ted loves bubbles too 🙂 Thanks for linking up #bigfatlinky
Bubbles are amazing – I love how long they can sit and play with them for #BeInspired
