Review – Personalised Christmas Cards By Postsnap

9th December 2014 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Postsnap
Ever since I had children, I’ve always loved to send a personalised Christmas card, to at least my close friends and family, with a picture of one or more of the children on it. I think it’s nice for those who are closest to me, but live on the other side of the world to see my children grow. Plus it’s something they can keep. Maybe put on their fridge. I know a few who do that. Finding a nice card that is easy to create, quick to deliver, I’m always running late and affordable isn’t always easy. This is where Postsnap comes into play.
Postsnap is a free app which you can download from the apple store on your iPhone or iPad, which allows you to create post cards, greeting cards and announcement cards using your own photos. The cards can then either be sent back to you or anywhere you would like to send them to, all direct from the app.

Postsnap App
The app is simple, easy to use and very intuitive. I had no problems creating the cards and ordering them within minutes, literally. I’ve never used something so simple. The only difficulty in creating these Christmas cards, was setting the scene and getting three children to stay still in the one place for a few minutes. This part, almost impossible.
Postsnap
On opening the app you can create a greeting card, postcard or an announcement. I love the announcements, it would be so nice to do when you had a new baby. I did the greeting card one for creating my Christmas cards. There are loads of different templates to choose from, stunning birthday cards, thank you cards, anniversary and Christmas cards. All can be personalised to suit and each one lovely. Even once you chosen your template, you can then customise the colour scheme. I then uploaded our family photo. Like I said, it was difficult to get them to stay still for long enough and for little miss non hat wearer to keep a Santa hat on.
Family Christmas Picture
Ok, not great, but not bad. I’m no professional photographer, but I think the Christmas tops, background and hats worked well to create a Christmassy theme. Anyway, I uploaded our photo, added in our Christmas message and even wrote the inside. No more writing out five names on the inside of the Christmas cards for me this year. I placed the order and away it went.
Within a few days I had a lovely big box containing my Christmas cards. I couldn’t wait to open them. What do you think?
Postsnap Christmas Card
Lovely isn’t it and they come with some great quality envelopes. Now all I have to do is write them. I got my Postsnap cards sent directly to me, but you can opt to get them sent direct to the recipient which is great, especially with free UK delivery.
How will this look on the receiver’s mantelpiece?
Postsnap Card
I think think the Postsnap cards are excellent. They are well made, look great and are high quality. The app is the simplest app I’ve came across to do this and you can literally create this in minutes. The delivery time is quick and they come well boxed. I really cannot fault them at all. The prices are reasonable starting at £1.50 for a postcard, £200 for an announcement card and £3.00 for greetings cards, all with free UK delivery. I think this is good value considering the costs of stamps, cards, etc. I cannot wait to send these out this year.
Will you be sending personalised Christmas cards this year?
Disclaimer:- I was given credit to try out the Postsnap app and order cards as well as some props for my photos. However, all words and opinions are my own and I think this is a great app and service.
