Review – Fisher Price Imaginext Samurai Castle And Vehicle

5th June 2014 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Tyler who is 5 years old is a bit fan of imaginative toys and role playing, Fisher Price products are great for him. They are great for babies too, but we love the range of pre-school up to about 8 year old range. We have several Imaginex toys from the superhero range which he loves, so I knew he’d love the Imaginext Samurai Castle and Samurai Dragon Vehicle.
Fisher Price Imaginext Samuari Castle Set
It was simple and easy to set up, there are a few clicks, but it’s pretty much ready to go in 5 minutes. Get ready for a world of Samurai and Ninja warriors. There is lots to do in this play set with a secret entrance when you turn the Samurai statue, a cannon the actually fires, a zip line that the figures slide down, a lever that allows the figures to slide back and forth for battling action and a lot more fun.
The set includes the castle, Ninja, Samurai figures, Ninja star projectiles and swords. I found some of these parts quite small and don’t think I’ve have included them in the set if I was letting anyone younger than 5 to play with it. The castle and figures are fine, it’s just the little bits and bobs I didn’t feel comfortable with. To be honest they were a bit fiddly for the boys so they didn’t add them in, but they were there if they wanted them.
The Imaginext Samurai Dragon Vehicle was a big hit in the the play set. It comes with hidden cannons, a Samurai figure, 4 swords and cannon projectiles. This works by pressing down the dragon’s tail for the head to lunge forward during role playing battle.
Imaginext Samurai Dragon Vehicle
There are no electronic components in the castle or the Samurai Dragon Waggon which is a huge bonus. No need to worry about them running out or not having the right batteries, etc.

Let your little ones imagine run free with being a Japanese warrior with the samurai castle. Your child will be occupied for hours with this set. It’s fantastic and a lot of fun. My boys loved this. The set is fantastic, look below. Lots of things to do and play with.
Castle
Like all Imaginext toys they are well made and durable. They are bright and great for all kinds of role play. It would make a great gift for a child I’d say 4 and above. There are loads of things to do in the set and lots of buttons to press and things to fire and move. I think it’s good value for money and comes with a lot of extra parts for kids to have fun with.

Boys playing together
The secret passage way, firing canons, moveable eyes and lots of fun, this is what the boys have with this playset. Fisher Price Imaginext at their best.
