Review And Competition – Seedlings Colour The Earth

26th March 2014 By Susan Mann 1 Comment

As an Asobi Ambassador over the next few months we will be lucky to try out several of the diverse products they sell. This months product was from the Seedling range. This range is fantastic, I hadn’t heard of it before now, but now I have it’s a range I will be buying more from. We chose the Colour the Earth Kit. My boys are the perfect age, they are a great price and are a lot of fun. I will also have one of these kits to giveaway at the bottom of the page.
Seedling is a New Zealand born craft company that believes every child has their own great ideas that are just waiting to be explored and their potential is unlimited. They encourage children to think creatively and it really comes across in their kits. The brand have built up an amazing collection of craft kits including ‘Design your own superhero cape’, ‘Build your own erupting volcano’, ‘My Nature Habitat’, ‘Design my own wizardry wand’ and many more!
Got the Whole World in your hands
My boys love crafts, they love to colour and create things. And it’s great to have something cool to make and this is exactly what Seedlings provide. We picked the Colour the Earth Inflatable Globe. It comes in a small box and the globe is made of a decent white material with the countries outline printed on the outside. You then inflate the ball inside to create the globe. It inflates to 40cm in diameter. It’s a great size. Not too big that it can’t be stored but not too small that you can’t make anything out.
Colouring the Globe
The globe is bouncy and light, easy for little hands to spin around to look at the different countries. We haven’t quite finished colouring it all in yet and will be spending next weekend working out which countries are which and writing them in. It’s educational for me, I’m terrible at geography. I think this kit is fantastic the boys and I spent all of Sunday afternoon colouring this in. It kept us all entertained and we bonded as a family.
Coloured Globe
This kit contains the inflatable world and craft markers. You will need a bicycle or ball pump to inflate the globe. Other than that it’s good to play with straight away. Do make sure you put some newspaper down as the pen doesn’t wipe off as easily off the table since it’s for material. The kit is recommend for ages 3+.

I think this kit was awesome and I will definitely be buying more from this range. It was well made, came with everything I needed, well except the pump but we had one and it was a lot of fun for all the family. Having looked more into the Seedling range of kits, they really do cater for everyone. Boys, girls, young, old, crafty, not so crafty, right down to jewellery and even making your own magic wand. I really can’t praise these enough and are great prices for what you get. They make the perfect gift and can be purchased at Kind Toys.
