I love watching films, especially feel good films. The boys need to watch a film that captures their interest, is colourful and keeps them entertained. I was asked to be a Twentieth Century Fox Ambassador and they sent me through a teeny tiny Apple TV box pre-loaded with TURBO to watch. Since we don’t have half term up here in Scotland I had to wait until the weekend to watch it with the boys.
We were sent a party pack with banners, hats, bowls, etc. Got some snacks. We invited a few friends and got the TURBO party started.
In case you’ve not watched this film, you’re missing out, TURBO is about a little garden snail called Theo who is later known as Turbo. He wants to be a racer, like the racing cars. He has a freak accident the gives him the super power of super-speed and off he goes leaving behind a trail of steam. There is no dream too big and no dreamer too small.
The boys and the other kids that came to watch the film loved it. I loved it and so did my hubby. It is definitely a film that we will watch it again and again. The boys have already asked to watch it. Everybody loves the underdog and he is a great underdog. You can’t help but root for him. Such a great feel good film for all the family. Even baby girl was loving the music and bright colours.
I haven’t watched a film on Apple TV before and it was simple and easy to setup. Very intuitive and easy to watch the film. I’ve had a little nosey about and buying films, tv shows and watching Netflix, etc on it couldn’t have been simpler. The box is tiny, but mighty. I love that you can buy a film instantly.
I cannot recommend TURBO enough, it’s one of the best kids film I’ve seen in a while that will suit both boys and girls. One that can be watched again and again and a story that never grows old. We loved it.
TURBO arrives on DVD, Digital HD™, Blu-ray 3D™ and Blu-ray™ on 10th February.
Disclaimer:- As Fox Ambassadors we were sent an Apple TV box pre-loaded with Turbo the film and a box of party goods, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
