Having good clear skin is a confidence booster. A few years ago I had really bad skin, caused by my kidney disease. I hated going out in public and felt very self conscious, no amount of make up helped me feel better about myself. I had so many large spots and my skin was red and just horrid. Of course it looked worse to me than it did everyone else. I was the same after my first emergency section, even though no-one could see my scar I felt like a monster and would never let even my husband see the area.
Things turned around for me when I sought the help of a beauty therapist. She was great and helped explain a lot. My first treatment was a skin tightening one, it done from an electronic machine and pulsed through my face. I’m not sure how it worked but a few hours later after the redness died down there was visible improvement. I have never looked back and regularly get treatments on my face. I’m glad I did it and now I have lovely skin.
I have never ventured to the rest of my body yet, but, after having 3 children my stomach is a little on the wobbly side, this I think will be the next place I target and those flabby bits under my arms. I’m sure they are called Bridesmaid bits or something like that I read recently. They sit over the top of the strapless bridesmaid dresses, I hate that bit. These are the areas I’d like to target. Maybe I’ll ask for some vouchers for my birthday later on this month.
Do you think you’d try skin tightening treatments? If so where would you get done?
