Ordering From Delivery Restaurants Through JUST EAT

1st August 2013 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

I’m all for cooking healthy home made meals, especially when it’s my hubby that’s cooking and not me, he’s actually the main cook in our house and very good at it. Don’t tell him I said so! However, there are those occasions when you’ve been working all day or out playing with the children and by the time you put them to bed, you just don’t have the energy to cook. Well, JUST EAT solves those problems.
The JUST EAT website is simple and easy to use, to enter your postcode and it will come up with a list of takeaway places that will delivery to your address. We put ours in and it came up with 17 take-away places that would deliver to us. I was slightly taken a back with how many there was on there. From Indian delivery restaurants but also Italian, Chinese, Turkish and good old British Chippies we had a great range to chose from. Although choosing a take-away place is easy, it’s whether or not they cater from my husband’s Gluten Free diet that becomes the challenge. Some of the take-away menu’s have allergy listings if they are made available to JUST EAT which is great. There is also an app for the iPhone which does the same as they website, but in a handy little app.

We chose to order something from Chillies which does Kebabs, Pizza, chips, etc. We clicked on the Menu and checked out the reviews all good so far. We decided what we wanted, I had a spicy onion pizza and Robert had a chicken kebab without the pita bread.

The order process was simple and easy to do, you just select the items you want, put them in your basket, check you are ok with the delivery charge and sign up ready to go. Entering in your payment details to the secure site. It really is easy and simple. No more trailing through drawers looking for out of date menus, it’s all here on one simple site.
The food was great and delivered quicker than the estimated 1 hour delivery time. We were impressed. So impressed we used the service again the following week. This time we ordered from The Curry House Chinese Take-away. We had never eaten from here before, but the reviews were good and the menu looked good.

I ordered some Crispy Won Tons for myself, Gluten Free hubby’s are not allowed these. Shame, but a win for me. All mine and they were delicious.

Some Fried Rice and Salt and Chili Chips to share. Hubby had some spare ribs, which he let me try. Everything was really nice. We will definitely be trying here again.

I would definitely recommend JUST EAT for those occasions when you just can’t be bothered cooking or want to treat yourself and have a night in. It’s simple and easy to use and doesn’t cost anything extra, everything is there and one click away.

I have not been paid for this post, I did receive a voucher for the meal.
