Review – DidiCar & Walk n Ride

28th May 2013 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Didicar
My boys are unlike any other child and love ride-on toys. When we were sent a Fiery Flamboyant Red Didicar their little eyes lit up. It didn’t take long to build and within 15 minutes the boy were taking turns to drive up and down the living room. Now we don’t have the biggest of living rooms, but it does have a laminate floor making it perfect for the Didicar to get about on.

On the Didicar
The Didicar is safe to use indoors and outdoors and works on any hard and smooth surface. Best of all it doesn’t need charging, batteries or winding up. Yes you heard right, it requires none of those things. So how does it work? By simply turning the wheel from left to right, this moves the car along. There are no pedals, you just side your feet up on the side and move from side to side and away you go.
Didicar
It’s not just for children either, adults can have a go and yes both hubby and I scooted up and down the living room on the Didicar. I wasn’t brave enough to venture outside yet. The boys did and the scooted up and down the path out the front, having lots of fun.
The Didicar is great for fun, exercise and fun. Yes I know I mentioned it twice because it is lots of fun. At less than £40 from the Didcar website, I think it’s fantastic value for money.
For the under 3’s Didicar have created a Walk n Ride. This is able to be used from 12 months and is aimed up until 3. However, Tyler has just turned 4 and he absolutely loved riding about on this.
Walk n Ride
He’s a little big for it, but he enjoyed it and he played quite happily on it. There are also stickers to customise the Walk n Ride. You can give them a little face, anything you fancy. We decided that the Walk n Ride will be perfect for Aria when she starts to toddle.
There are rubber caster wheels on the bottom allowing your little toddler to move in a 360′ motion without it slipping away from them. They hold onto the handles and push it along. Then as they get older they can move onto a ride on where they can sit on it and whizz about to their hearts content.
Walk n Ride
The Didi car Walk n Ride is excellent for those starting to walk to those cruising about to those wanting to ride on their first ride on and whizz up and down. I’m looking forward to the day Aria will be having a go on this. Stay tuned for those pictures. Again at a fab price of less than £35 from their website it’s a great investment.
