Snack on Soreen

25th October 2012 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Many of you know I’m a huge fan of Soreen, the boys love the lunchbox loaves I blogged about here. But for me there is nothing better than a slice of sticky, sweet malt loaf with margarine on it. Yes I’m not a fan of butter.
There is nothing better than having two yummy slices, toasted with margarine for your breakfast, how good does this look?
Soreen Toast
For as much as I love Soreen and the fact it freezes so well, you just take out a slice from the freezer pop it in the toast and it comes out as tasty and squidgy as ever, I did have to share. Much to the boys disappointment as they had setup shop.
Soreen Shop
Not sure there was much passing trade, but they did get one customer.
Soreen eating Penguin
Little penguin he had quite a big appetite as you can see.

We did make up a big package of the Soreen goodies and took them to a special needs adults lunch gathering. They were over the moon with all the Soreen products and said they were super tasty. Hopefully, we have some more Soreen fans from them. They certainly seemed to be having a great time.
How do you eat Sorren? I have really only ever ate it was margarine and toasted, I didn’t know any different until I joined in on the twitter party Soreen was having last week with the hash tag #snackonsoreen. You can have a look back at everyone’s tweets using the hashtag here. During this twitter party I found out people love Soreen with cream cheese, peanut butter, chopped bananas, butter and cinnamon to name a few. So many ways to eat Soreen I know I will be trying out a few of these. I love cinnamon and the cream cheese makes a nice savoury choice, instead of the usual sweet one. What about you?
If you want to win a Soreen goody bag, you can do by completing this survey. And you can also nominate a super lovely person to get a visit from the Soreen van here.
Why not follow their facebook page and twitter for further updates.
