Review – Frosty Friends

21st September 2012 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

With my oldest Lucas getting tonsillitis a lot Ice lollies are something that we keep in the house in abundance. I have never tried to make my own, so when we were sent some Frosty Friends Ice Lolly moulds from Just Mustard to review I knew it was time to break the trend and make my own ice lollies.
Frosty friends are silicon moulds with space to make three lollies, the sticks are made of hard plastic with eyes on them so that the lollies look like little faces, cool, huh. However, you’d need to watch them with little ones, they are bigger than normal lolly sticks so they should be ok if they have normal ice lolly’s. It also has a lid to keep all the ice lolly mix safe and sound until it’s ready to be eaten.

We decided to go with a plain ice type lolly. We got three different juices, one black current, one fizzy and one cherry and poured them into the moulds.
It was simple and easy to do, not mess and no fuss. Put it in the freezer for a few hours and they were ready to eat.
They looked great and they tasted great. The boys loved them and we have made them again and again. I have also made some smoothie ones. The limits are endless with these and best of all they are dishwasher safe. You have no idea how many things I have ruined by putting them in the dishwasher, these come out as good as new.
These get a big thumbs up from me and from the boys and at only £7.98 from Just Mustard I think they are great value.
