Ever Growing Bump – Weeks 16-19

14th September 2012 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Since my last update which ended at me being 15 weeks pregnant here, I’m now up to 19 weeks. I guess I’m half way there now since this is expected to be a section delivery which will be slightly early. Scary how fast it is going. However, this part will go faster since it wasn’t really announced until I was 13 weeks.
I have been keeping better since my kidney infections and piddling issues have been resolved. I still get a lot of pain in the kidney area but that is part of my life and I’m used to it. Fingers crossed they continue to work ok and I have no more problems.

I’ve had some problems with my eye sight being blurry, especially at work, which will need to get checked. I’ve had my glasses changed before I became pregnant so it should be ok. I’ve been using drops but they are sore. The other thing is I have a constantly stuffy nose, which is annoying but no biggie. Other than that I’ve been neither up now down.
I have still been very tired, don’t remember being like this before. I thought if anything I would have been worse when pregnant with my second since the oldest was only 14 months at the time. I haven’t experienced any cravings yet and the sickness has calmed for now so that’s good.
My bump is getting bigger but for my third I don’t think I’m that big which is good. Depends on what I wear to be honest. The boys are being very cute and giving the bumps kisses and cuddles. Tyler is wanting a girl at the minute and Lucas wants a boy, so I guess one will be happy and one will be disappointed.
Mentally I have been worrying about getting my PND back which I have been fighting for the past 3 years to get over, you can read my journey here. I feel I have come so far and I am stronger, I hope it stays that way and it doesn’t rear it’s ugly head this time around. I know if it does I will ask for help. I have also been panicking that I can’t cope with three, it’s a bit late for that I know, time will tell on this one.
I’ve not felt any movement yet, which I thought I would have felt by now. I felt Tyler move about 17 weeks, but so far nothing. I guess baby is lazy, fingers crossed he or she stays that way or it’s just in the position it’s in. Roll on some movement, it’s re-assuring and always nice to feel.
Next up is the 20 week scan.
Here is my bump at 19 1/2 weeks. It looks a bit bigger than it normally does in this dress. I was on my way to a wedding reception.
