Review – Lite Sprites – Not just for girls

23rd November 2011 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

As a child of the 80’s, I know I’m old, anyway I was a huge fan of Flower Fairies. I had the castle all the dolls, the chairs, the swings and I loved them. Next to my Sindy’s these were my favourite childhood toy and hold a very special place in my heart. I am a huge fan of fairies and love to believe in everything magical, I have brought the boys up to believe the same. They even have a fairy door in their room that the fairies come into when they sleep.

I have several fairy style ornaments which they boys play with, so when I came across the Lite Sprites I knew my little one would love these. Who says fairies are for girls only. My little boys loved them. Look at his little face.

Lite Sprites are little fairy like creatures which use light and colour to show their emotions. Each different Lite Sprite has their own personality and own place in the world. The Sprites are Prisma, Astra, Meadow, Brooke and then there is Bleak who uses her powers to elinimate and disrupt the colours in the world that is Lite-Topia. Prisma is the leader of the Lite Sprites and comes with the Lite Sprite wand.

This is the perfect toy for little girls and magical boys, from as young as 2 until 92. There is so much you can do with these, it uncorages role play, teaches about colours and sharing. I really do love these. They look great and are great fun. There are many games to play with the wand, one of which is colour hunt, it is great fun to play.

The pictures do not do it justice, it is hard to capture the Lite Sprites lit up. These little creatures look amazing and really are magical looking. The tree of Lite is fantastic, it lights up, you can spin it round, it has an elevator, plays magical music and changes colour. The Lite Sprites hang from the tree, by their forest pods. The Lite Sprite wand allows your child to share the colour with the other Sprites and their world.

Tyler uses the Lite Sprites as a night light in his bed. They don’t stay lit all night but he knows it’s there if he wakes up. Honestly can’t praise these enough.

I would highly recommend these for all children, yes mainly girls but boys can have fun with them too. For the whole set it is slightly on the expensive side, but it is durable, long lasting, there is so much to do with it, it looks amazing and so magical and it’s lots and lots of fun. Have a look at Litesprites.com for a look at the whole world.

I will leave you with the Lite Sprites TV ad which I think it great, captured them way better than I could.

Disclaimer:- I was sent these to review in exchange for my honest opinion which I have given above.
