Our Second challenge was Thailand. We were given a recipe for a Pad Tai. Here is what we came up with.
Ingredients:-
1 Bottle Worldfoods Thai `Pad Thai` Noodle sauce
2 Diced Chicken Breasts
300g Prawns
20g Chives (cut into 2″ lengths)
100g Bean Sprouts
Spring Onions
Some Lime Juice
Chili Flakes
Instructions:-
Pan fry the chicken in the wok with a small amount of oil. Once cooked add in the prawns and pan fry them also. In another pot pour in the Pad Thai Noodle Sauce and bring to the boil. Once Boiled add to the wok. Continue to stir, add in the bean sprouts, Spring onions, noodles, chives, keeping a few for decoration. Heat gentle and plate up.
Once plated, I then added a few dashes of lime juice and a sprinkling of chili flakes.
Again this was another quick and easy meal to make. Cooked and prepared in less than half and hour and tasted extremely nice. It didn’t have the same kick as last week’s but more of a sweet and sour taste, I felt. Again I used both prawns and chicken to please everyone. The sauce was one I will use again and maybe vary the ingredients slightly. The boys had fun helping me pick chives from the garden for this recipe. I would highly recommend this and you can see the boys do too.
