Princes Brekkie – What We Made

26th October 2011 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

As you know we received the a Princes Brekkie Box to review, we had so much fun with it, here’s what we did.
I found out I was a little stressed in the mornings according to my heart rate monitor we used. It seemed running up and down the stairs to get clothes, etc increases the heart rate and trying to get two little ones dressed, fed, yourself dressed and fed and all out the door for school and work isn’t that easy.
We all know it’s important to get our 5 a day, with the help of Princes and their tinned fruit, I have to say, it made it a little easier. Here is what I did.

First morning was off to a good start, I got up early and setup the table, I even included the little calming candle. We had some fruit in a bowl for breakfast along with some cereal and some fresh orange juice in a glass. Breakfast and already two of our 5 a day.
The boys really enjoyed this breakfast.
I made some cakes with the little one, he loves to help bake.

We made some Peaches and Cream fairy cakes from the recipe on the website but instead of using cream we used icing. Still a great way to sneak in one of your five a-day if you eat a few. Good excuse for some more cake.
Another recipe from the Princes website we made was for the Peach and Orange Smoothie. This was delicious and another one of our five a day.
In true Wiggles style, fruit salad, yummy, yummy for desert.
Lastly on the weekends, especially a Sunday we have a later and bigger breakfast. I even managed to get one of our five a day into brunch. We had pancakes, bacon and some pineapple.
It really is easier than you think to get in your five a day and thanks to Princes I now know how easy it is.
The boys finished off the day with the colouring book.
Don’t forget to check out the Princes website for recipes and lots more information on their products.
Disclaimer:- We were sent a breakfast box to try to increase our five a day and find out how stressful breakfast was.
