Here is the thirteenth week of the 100 WC for Grown ups. It is a weekly challenge for all those writers who want to extend their audience to get feedback on their work.
This is this week’s prompt is ‘The Alphabet’
Here is my 100 words on for this prompt:-
Staring at myself in the mirror, my long, white, flowing nightdress, made me look ghostly white. The lights were out, the candles were lit and the shadows danced along the walls.
I start to say the alphabet backwards, z,y,x,w,v,u,t,s,r,q,p,o,n,m,l,k,j,I,h,g,f,e,d,c,b,a. I kept my eyes open, staring the whole time. I sigh nothing happened.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light. I was flung to the floor. The candles were snuffed out and I was plunged into darkness.
I scrambled to my feet and switched on the light. I stood in front of the mirror, to see my reflection had gone.
