A Look Back at Angel by LA Weatherly And Giveaway

30th September 2011 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

One of my favourite books last year was Angel by LA Weatherly, you can read how much I loved it on my review. I could not wait for the release of Angel Fire which comes out tomorrow. I am so excited and cannot wait to read. I have been tweeting the lovely LA Weatherly on twitter, trying to get some inside information, she likes to tease us with a little bit here and there but we have to wait and see.
In honour of the release I thought I would take a look back at Angel, not only that the publishers of Angel, Usborne are offering one of my readers the chance to win a copy of Angel and wait for it… also Angel Fire. Now how cool is that.

Synopsis:- Willow knows she s different from other girls. And not just because she loves tinkering around with cars. Willow has a gift. She can look into peoples futures, know their dreams, their hopes and their regrets, just by touching them. She has no idea where she gets this power from… But Alex does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows Willows secret and is on a mission to stop her. The dark forces within Willow make her dangerous and irresistible. In spite of himself, Alex finds he is falling in love with his sworn enemy.

Look Back:- Willow is the highschool social outcast, living with her aunt because her mother is mentally ill, unable to care for her any longer. Her father hasn’t been around. She does give out physic readings at school, making her unpopular and a freak, yet they still come around looking for her insight. When a reading goes wrong with one of her classmates, Willow’s life is turned upside down when she discovers Angel’s are real. Also that they all aren’t so white and pure as we are lead to believe, these one feed on humanity. This triggers her existence to the Angels.

An Angel assassin is sent to kill her, but instead of killing her, Alex and Willow team up when they discover her hybrid nature may be the key to the Angel’s destruction. They don’t trust each other, but work together. The sexual chemistry and tension is ever present and simmering away. They end up on a road trip across America, trying to figure things out and what Willow really is. There are so many twists and turns, it is a real rollercoaster and I for one cannot wait to see what happens next in Angel Fire.

Giveaway:-
