Review – Peppa Pig Theme Park Fun – Nintendo DS Game

4th April 2011 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Description:- Peppa Pig: Theme Park Fun arrives on Nintendo DS™ from 25th March priced £24.99 in perfect time for Easter. With 18 brand new fun-filled games, Peppa Pig: Theme Park Fun offers parents the best value for money yet and a wide variety of easy-to-play engaging activities for kids aged 3-7 years.
Peppa Pig: Theme Park Fun follows the family’s day out at a theme park and the release is timed to launch alongside the multi-million pound themed attraction Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park.
Fans of the hit pre-school TV series will find that Peppa Pig: Theme Park Fun offers nearly twice as many interactive activities for the same price as the previous top-selling Peppa Pig videogame releases. Both challenging and stimulating all games have been designed so they are perfect for young children to pick up and play without adult assistance and to help develop essential early learning skills.

Activities Featured Include:- Prepare a Picnic, Train Ride, Musical Water Fountains, Candy Floss, Bumper Cars, Ice Cream and Tea Cup Ride. Engaging and fun for the whole family, special golden tokens can also be won whilst playing which can be spent at the Theme Park shop or used to unlock an extra game.
Review:- This game came at the right time to review for us, as we were building up to our trip to Peppa Pig World. This helped get the boys exited before the big day. My 4 year old is a whizz around the DS and a huge fan of Peppa Pig so this game was perfect for him. He absolutely loved it and has been playing it ever since.
Like most of the Peppa Pig games, each one can be played in timed mode or not which is a great idea, especially for the little ones who get frustrated if the time runs out before they have even done one thing. A great addition to this game is the you can win Golden Tokens, which can be spent in the shop for things like extra jigsaws and tunes. The music on this game is very catchy and I don’t find it at all annoying when he is played, I find myself humming along to it.
Driving Grandpa Pig’s train is one of my 4 year olds favourites, tooting the train, picking up passengers and making sure it doesn’t go to fast. Mending the map is another of his favourites, it is a little jigsaw. We play the musical fountain game together, its great fun. My 2 year old is obsessed with brushing Peppa’s teeth and washing her face, very funny. He also loves seesaw but hasn’t grasped the fact the seesaw has to be balanced, but this is a great game for learning about balance, weight and even sizes.
I have to say this game is fantastic; there are so many games on it, which vary from many activities. I love the fact they can prepare their own sandwiches, even cutting the cucumber.
I would recommend this game to anyone with young children, especially if the like Peppa Pig. I really don’t think I can recommend it highly enough. Children can have fun and learn while playing this, and learn a lot through different activities.
You can purchase the game here.
