Review – Babyroyale Luxury Blanket

2nd April 2011 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Description:- The babyroyale luxury blanket is absolutely the ultimate baby blanket.Babyroyale make bamboo cotton receiving blankets. They have a silky finish and are blended with 70% bamboo 30% organic cotton. They feel wonderful against the skin, so smooth. They look handwoven rather than mass produce and have a quite an old fashioned quality look to them.
Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, perfect for babies. It is three times more absorbent than cotton, and bamboo fibres guard against chaffing and overheating as well as preventing odours from being trapped. Unlike pure cotton or wool, bamboo material is also non abrasive and is therefore ideal for use on infant and newborn skin. It is also ecologically friendly and the crops it is taken from are fully regenerated which makes it a good ethical choice.

It is 90 by 75 cm and comes in a box. It is a top luxury gift for a newborn and costs £34.99.
Review:- This is a gorgeous blanket, so soft and so luxurious. The colour is unusual, not that washed out white blanket you get or that yellowy cream but an off white colour. It’s a great size, perfect for swaddling that newborn bundle.
There is no itchiness or scratchiness from this super soft material. My two year old loved the blanket he has it on his bed under his duvet and sleeps with it every night. It seems to keep them cool and warm when needed. I wish they did them in adult sizes.
I cannot describe how soft and luxurious these blankets are enough, you have to buy one to find out for yourself. I also love the gorgeous wee baby with a crown motif which is embroidered onto the bottom of the blanket. The white one has a little green baby sewn on. So cute.
I would highly recommend this blanket for anyone with a baby or young child. It makes the perfect gift for a newborn baby. The blanket is available directly from Babyroyale or from Hello Baby.

Disclaimer:- I was sent this blanket in exchange for an honest review.
