Product Review – Shloer

5th March 2011 By Susan Mann Leave a Comment

Description:- Shloer is the sparkling juice drink for any occasion, and it contains no preservatives, artificial colours, sweeteners or flavourings. Now over 70 years young, Shloer is still based on the original (and very delicious) recipe that was created by Professor Jules Shloer of Switzerland!
Here at Shloer, we pride ourselves on blending only the very best in fruit juices from concentrate and purest water to make our drinks. Our grapes are sourced from the sun-kissed vineyards of La Mancha in Spain – Europe’s largest grape producing region. Many varieties of grapes are grown, however we have chosen to use La Mancha’s crisp tasting white grapes and their highly aromatic red grapes to produce our unique tasting Shloer juice drinks.

Review:- Shloer is one of those drinks you were given as a child on special occasions, like Christmas or New Year when the adults were drinking wine. You pretended you were too, a mini adult. I remember being so excited when I was given it, I loved it.
So when I was asked to try two bottles of Shloer I jumped at the chance. I was sent Raspberry and Cranberry and White Grape. The Raspberry was delicious, sweet, sparkly and simply lush. I drank this with my hubby one Saturday night with a wee take away. It was a wee treat.
I loved the White Grape, however hubby wasn’t so keen I think he found it a little bitter but I thought it was lovely. I found it very refreshing, sparkly and tingly. I again found this a wee treat.
There are numerous different flavours, check them out here
The cost of Shloer is a little expensive for drinking everyday but in replacement to a glass of wine on a Saturday evening or on a special occasion I would highly recommend it. I know I will be buying more.

Disclaimer:- I was sent two bottles of Shloer in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Shloer.
