Writing Workshop – I wanted, I have, I want

10th February 2011 By Susan Mann 10 Comments

This is my entry for the lovely Josie’s Writing Workshop over at Sleep is for the Weak.

This week the prompt is “on the couch “. Here is my poem for that prompt.

I wanted, I have, I want

I wanted someone to love,
I have someone to love,
I want to love forever.

I wanted to get married,
I have a husband,
I want to see our golden wedding anniversary.

I wanted a baby,
I have two beautiful boys,
I want another one day.

I wanted to be happy,
I have the life I wanted,
I want it to stay that way forever.

Hope you enjoyed my poem, why not check out the rest of the entries over at Sleep is for the weak.
