I haven’t been on for a while with an update on how I was doing with the MuTu System. I ended up giving up at week 6. I know I was half way there, I was stupid. Looking back I know that now, but it wasn’t that the diet wasn’t working, in fact it was the opposite I had lost 5 lbs and my clothes were looser, I was doing well and getting into the system.
Then what was the problem? The problem was I was doing Nanowrimo at the same time. For those who don’t know Nanowrimo is 50,000 words in the month of November. Now I started off well but was struggling more and more with time, between working, looking after the boys and writing every evening, so something had to give. That was my diet and exercise. When under pressure I eat rubbish, sweets mainly and that’s what happened. I said as we all do its fine I’ll get back to it next week. Next week turned into the following week, then before I knew it I had the hectic time of Christmas, with so many birthdays my bank balance is weeping. Not to mention all the bugs and lurgy we all caught.
So by the time I started catching up with everything, then my other baby’s birthday, going back to work after 3 weeks off, here we are. I failed miserably.
The Mutu System itself is wonderful, the best diet/exercise program I have come across. The diet does not restrict you in anyway. You are not told what to eat or what not to eat, just to eat non-processed food. Which let’s face it, is what we should be eating. There are easy to follow and quick recipe ideas for those days when time is short. Most importantly it changes the way you and your family eat, not just yourself. Which in turns give a better future for us all?
I wasn’t quite there yet with my food mentality as I quickly resorted back to sweets as snacks and take away for quickness. I think if I had gotten to the 12 week mark that would have been me changed for good.
The exercises were great. I for one hate going to the gym, I’m not a sporty, athletic person in the slightest. But the exercises which accompany the Mutu system are short, but tough. They change every few weeks, increasing their intensity and working towards that flat mummy tummy. I didn’t even mind doing them every evening. Another reason I am kicking myself.
Each week Wendy would send through a new video, whether it is an exercise, a breathing exercise or some toning but you would feel motivated and that someone cared.
Wendy is always there to support and encourage you, if you have any problems she is right onto it.
I would thoroughly recommend the MuTu system to any mother, whether you have a few week old baby to a teenager to give this system a go. I saw the difference and I will be doing it again, so watch this space. I will be updating. I will update at the 6 week point and at the 12 week point. I felt that when I was blogging on a weekly basis I should have been seeing a bigger difference which isn’t the case. Overall I lost an average of 1lb a week which is fantastic. You can do it to. Go on, give it a go, and join me in making a difference to you and your family.

The MuTu System has been created by a real mum; expert trainer who has been putting mummy tummies back together for nearly 10 years, whose childbirth experiences didn’t quite go to ‘plan’ either… ; who’s got a very flat tummy.

Hey Susan, the important thing is it worked for you once… & will work for you again. So life got in the way this time. It does that 😉 Tell yourself you're important enough, or you want it enough, or both, & climb back on board! Good luck & you know where to come when you need support! x
Considering how much was going o in your life I think you did well, and the fact that you want to try again says a lot about the system!Well done!
