Happy Days Adventure Play & Birthday Parties

21st February 2011 By Susan Mann 4 Comments

I thought about having my four year old’s birthday party at home, like we used to have with ice-cream and jelly, pass the parcel, musical bumps, etc. But gone are the days when people would leave their children at four at a party, most adults stay and most children would get bored. The biggest reason for this is, let’s face it, the mess. You have to spotlessly clean the house, not that my house isn’t clean, but we all know there can’t be a thing out of place. So, I mentioned to Lucas about having it at soft play.

He chose Happy Days soft play which is within the Playsport centre in East Kilbride. This softplay is fantastic. It’s new, so looks great, you can see your child on the frames no matter where you sit, it has Coupe cars for the little ones to drive about on, a great bumpy slide even the adults can go down, shhh, a wee drive in cinema and fantastic food. I was happy with the decision.
I spoke to the guy who runs the place and he booked the party for me. Now how is this for good value for money. We chose four food options and jugs of juice for the little darlings, one hour of soft play, party games, cake and party bags. Games and food would be served in their drive in cinema section, with themed tables (they are designed as cars) and a film of your choice for all £8.45 per kiddy. Fantastic.
I didn’t have to worry about a thing, not the cake, not the party bags. It was fantastic value for money and the staff were amazingly helpful. I would recommend them to anyone having a party in the Lanarkshire area, great food, great staff, great softplay and great value for money.
As you can see from the above photos my little one along with the rest of them had a ball.
I would highly recommend Happy Days Adventure Play to anyone with kids. I am there at least once a week, what I love about it that the kids are safe to run about, climb, slide, jump and use up their energy in a place where I can see them and know they are ok. I can sit and have a blether with my friend without the worry.

Things you can do at Happy Days Adventure Play :-

•Glide through the air over a clear 4m drop. OK – it’s see through plastic under you (health and safety and all that) but you’ll get the thrill;
•Slide down a 4 lane wavy slide that’s a whopping 6.25m high – the highest in the UK; (wear leggings you go faster 🙂
•Enter the gladiator zone and knock your opponent off their pedestal;
•Bounce up high on one of our two trampolines;
•See how high you can get on our 6m climbing wall;
•Spin round and try not to fall off our twisty stick;
•Get up to your ears in balls;
•Test your ball skills in the sports pitch;
•Get some target practice with our powerful ball cannon;
•Go round and round the kart track;
•Run up, down, round, across, over, through,along, back and…

If you’re wee one is a bit younger, we have created a baby and toddler haven in the Baby Park. This is designed so the older kids can’t spoil it for the babies and toddlers, who feel safe because it’s fully enclosed. If you’re under 3, the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. This is a great section that looks like a we picnic area with picnic benches.
Their mission statement is thrills but no spills. Situated in East Kilbride at Playsport – a brand new multi-sport leisure complex with 9 hole tribute golf course, 51 bay driving range, 5-a-side football and Scotland’s largest golf shop. Open 7 days from 9.30 until 6.30pm.

They have some meal deal and soft play options available check their website and facebook for more information.

What are you waiting for, go visit today you won’t be disappointed.

I was not payed, nor did I receive anything for this review. I just wanted to let people know how good it is.

    I remember having a party at a soft play for Amy once. I think she was about 4. It was okay but I wasn't overly impressed, very cheap and nasty junk food and young, useless girls standing around not knowing what they should be doing. I'm glad you managed to find somewhere you were pleased with, it makes all the difference.CJ xx
