Book Review – In A New York Minute By Nicola Stretton

22nd November 2010 By Susan Mann 1 Comment

Description:- It’s not every day you win a holiday to Los Angeles! Phoebe Robinson, a normal twenty-something from London, is elated when she wins first prize in a magazine competition. Finally, a chance to visit the city she’s only ever seen and heard about on TV and in books! However, on the way to LA, her plane is diverted to New York…a twist of fate which changes her life forever. This girly, feel-good and fun novella will fit perfectly in your handbag so you can take it anywhere.

Review:- This book look so cute, it is small, pink, girly and best of all it fits in your handbag with ease. This book is a prefect book for holidays, for a an appointment where you have some spare time to read. I love the fact this is a light, fun filled read. I just want to keep using the word cute as that’s how I would describe everything about this book.
Phoebe is a great main character, she is a normal down to earth single woman working in London. She wins a competition to go to LA, she chooses to go with her best friend. They don’t make it to LA to begin with and are instead diverted to New York. Fate steps in and Phoebe meets the man of her dreams, you can feel the chemistry between them.
But fate doesn’t always go to plan. This book will have you rooting for Phoebe through the good times and crying with her through the tough time. In the end you will want to be her.
I would recommend this book to all the girls out there, it a nice fun and cute read, yes there is that word again. Dreams can come true.

Thank you so much Nicola for sending me a copy of your adorable book to review. I look forward to reading more in the future.
